Looking for some creative art in your heart?? Stop right there and take a look at this sweet puppy face. Banksy is curious, silly, with just the right amount of mischievousness. He is 8 months old and what you see is what you get, velvety beagle ears, a huge appetite, and no respect for personal space. Banksy is still learning about this great big world and would love a family with another dog to show him the way and a fenced yard for puppy zoomies. Our little work of art is truly a masterpiece. BeFreegle is a foster based organization, located in the mid Hudson Valley of NY. Approved applicants must travel to us. Meet and greets are for approved applicants only. Visit our website and fill out that adoption application asap.

Wake up you sleepyheads!! We’re freegling today. Time to celebrate and welcome six beagle puppies. Probably they’ll all be bigger than me even though they’re just babies. I’ll have to show them around and point out where the treats are stashed. We’re all very excited!

Every new Freegle needs someone to show them the way. Because sometimes the best teacher for a dog is another dog.
BeFreegle's Chief Freegle Ambassador, Eva, has officially taken on a new role: Emotional Support Dog to Freegle Lily.
Lily, formerly known as Peppa, arrived from Ridglan in May. Recently, she attended her very first convention with her mom to help promote BeFreegle—a big adventure for a beagle who is still discovering her brand new world.
Thank goodness, she had Eva by her side.
As they walked through the hotel and then the convention floor Eva did what she does best. She patiently matched Lily's pace, refusing to walk ahead until Lily caught up. There was no rush, no pressure—just sweet friendship, quiet encouragement, and confidence.
It's a beautiful reminder that healing doesn't always come from people. Sometimes, the best teacher is another dog who has already walked the same path.
We're pretty sure "Chief Freegle Ambassador" now comes with an additional title...
Chief Emotional Support Dog.
Well done, Eva. You’ve come so far and make us all so proud.

Sweet and shy Clover is ready for her . Clover arrived at BeFreegle in mid July very scared. While she is still very shy she is trying so hard to be brave. She LOVES going on walks and all the wonderful smells that are new to her. She has been a very quick study with house training and is just about there. Clover is just one year old according to her Ridglan tattoo. She’s on the thin side and we’ve been working on getting her up to her ideal weight. She’s does love to eat, being a beagle and all. Clover is 16lbs and needs another small dog to help her learn how to dog, a fenced yard, and someone who loves to walk. She was recently spayed and is in the process of getting all her puppy vaccines. Because of Clovers shyness we can offer a foster to adopt situation to see how she does in your home. Preference will be given to anyone with prior lab beagle or very shy dog experience. BeFreegle is located in the mid Hudson Valley of NY. Approved applicants must travel to us to pick her up. We are a foster based organization and do not have a physical shelter location for meet and greets.

A July 4th PSA from Goose the Freegle

Attention fellow freegles (and all other pets),
Today is not the day to be brave.
Those things humans call fireworks? We call them firecrappers, and they scare the baby Jesus out of us.
Please stay indoors where it’s safe. Us new freegles are already easily startled, and today can be especially scary.
Make sure your collar is on, your ID tag is secure, and your human holds your leash extra tight for your last potty breaks.
If the firecrappers get too loud, don’t make a run for it. Find a cozy hiding spot under the bed, behind the couch, in a closet, or snuggled up next to your favorite human. Tomorrow is a much better day for adventures and being brave.
Stay safe, everyone! Also, happy 250th birthday America. Gosh you’re old.

Love,
Goose the Freegle
