🍇MUSCADINE GRAPE SEASON OPENS Fri. Aug. 7, 2026 7:30am-1:00pm FOR GRAPE PICKING ONLY. If we don’t get picked out Friday, we plan to OPEN Sat. & maybe Sun. Aug 8-9, 2026 same hours!! LOTS of ripe "Black Supreme" grapes to pick, and SOME Bronze "Fry" Scuppernong grapes are ripe! PICK INDIVIDUAL RIPE GRAPES, NOT CLUSTERS (see photos). Both varieties are excellent for fresh eating, jelly and wine. These are much larger and sweeter than the wild muscadines grown in this area.

🟪For kids’ safety, please watch them closely and do not allow them to hang or pull on the single wire that holds all the grapes. NO OTHER FRUITS/VEGS ARE AVAILABLE FOR PICKING—Just grapes! Pickers must check-in AT THE MARKET before 12:30pm and weigh/pay by 1:00 pm sharp closing time. A limited assortment of pre-picked vegs will be for sale in the market.

🟪WE accept CASH/MC/VISA/AMEX. No pets/No checks please. Sorry, no picnic area. Porta-Pottie and hand sink available.

🟣Blackberry season is officially over for 2026! The last day for blackberry picking was Friday, 6-26-26. We had planned to be open Sat. & Sun. (6/27 & 6/28/26) but y'all picked all the berries Friday and nothing is left for the weekend, so we will be closed!

🍇But good news--Market and U-Pick will be closed for a few weeks, then re-open Mid-Late July for U-Pick Muscadine Grapes and Market sales. Our 2 grape varieties are: Black “Supreme” Muscadine grapes and Bronze “Fry” Scuppernong Muscadine grapes, both excellent for fresh eating, jelly and wine. These are much larger and sweeter than the wild muscadines grown in this area.

📣LAST CALL FOR BLACKBERRIES! Open Fri., Sat. & Sun. June 26, 27 & 28, 2026 (7:30am-1:00pm) for the FINAL U-PICK BLACKBERRY DAYS this year! We will also have U-PICK FLOWERS and a market full of homegrown pre-picked veggies. After this weekend, we will close for a few weeks, then re-open for U-PICK MUSCADINE GRAPES. NEW VARIETY: Remember the Heirloom Tromboncini Squash we had last year? This year we offer (pre-picked) Centercut Squash, an improved Tromboncini that is less watery than a zucchini, with a sweet, nutty flavor, great to roast or sautee. Give it a try!

✅TIME: Pickers must arrive and check in BEFORE 12:30pm and pay and depart by 1:00pm.

✅INFO: Bring your own picking box or purchase ours for $3.00. Entry fee $3.00/person/age 2 and up.

Open today (Sunday 6/21/26) 7:30am-1:00pm for U-Pick Thornless Blackberries and homegrown fresh-picked veggies! This area hasn't had any rain lately; all the recent storms have split before they got to us and the fields are in great shape for berry picking. There is some chance of rain today, but again the radar shows them breaking up and mostly missing our area. We do allow berry picking in rain, but not during lightning or threat of lightning. Thankfully we just caught the edge of the intense rainstorms this week, so fields are still in good shape. Blackberry vines are LOADED with ripe blackberries plumped up from enough moisture (but not too much). Cherry Tomatoes are just about gone, but we have lots of other sizes!

🚩Sorry, we are PICKED OUT AND WILL BE CLOSED SUNDAY, 6/14/26. Y'all showed up and really picked a lot today (Sat. 6/13), so there is nothing ripe for picking tomorrow.

‼️Good news is that PEAK BLACKBERRY SEASON WILL LAST 2-3 more weeks! This is unprecedented for us, and we think it is because the mid-March deep freeze delayed the earliest ripening varieties, so those early berries are ripening later along with the later ones. So there are still LOTS of beautiful RED blackberries to ripen in the coming few weeks.
