Harris County Veterinary Public Health has confirmed a positive rabies case in a stray cat from the Greensbrook Place area. This is the first domestic animal rabies case in over 10 years in our county

⚠️ What you need to know:
-Rabies is fatal once symptoms appear.
-The virus spreads through saliva, usually from bites.
-Vaccinating pets against rabies is required by law and the best way to keep them safe.
-Report any bites, scratches, or unusual animal behavior immediately.
