Some stallions win. A rare few transform the direction of an entire industry. Smart Chic Olena did both.
The late, great stud remains the only horse in history to win AQHA world championships in both cutting and reining. Chic’s power, intelligence and deep cow sense gave him a presence riders still talk about decades later. He earned his way into the AQHA, NRHA and NRCHA Halls of Fame, cementing a legacy most stallions will never touch.
Chic was by $42 million cutting sire Smart Little Lena, and his dam Gay Sugar Chic boasts the speed of Thoroughbred ancestors like Three Bars and Chicaro. Trevor and Tiffini Bond became stewards of history when they ensured Smart Chic Olena’s speed and intelligence would remain accessible via his genes long after his death.
Because of Infinite Reproduction & Genetics (IRG), Chic’s lineage is thriving at major roping futurities, in Riata incentives and throughout modern breeding decisions where bone, size and speed matter more than ever.
