Take a hike with Scooter 🏞️

One of our volunteers took Scoots on a hike around Black Point and he had a blast! He’s really digging his adventure walks and loves hanging out with people. He thinks the ocean state is pretty gorgeous and even howled in excitement over the beauty.

Scooter is still in need of a foster or adopter ASAP! Giving him a landing space will allow us to help additional dogs and give him the safe space and structure he deserves to thrive! Scooter is almost 8 months old and a shepherd/lab mix who is a blend of characteristics of both breeds. While he’d be super pumped to be your only pet and get all the love and attention, he would also be happy living with another dog who is large, playful, goofy and not territorial.

Meet Lucky 🍀

This handsome little fella is about 2 years old and we think a Schnauzer / Wirehaired Fox Terrier mix. We don’t know much about this guy’s start as he was found alone by a lake. He’s proven to be quite resilient and is overall a good boy. He is the perfect balance of fun-loving energy and excellent manners. Lucky had done well with other dogs, and he is friendly with the adult humans he’s come across. We aren’t sure at this time how he’d be with kids or cats.

Meet Chip!

Chip is a 5-month-old Australian Shepherd mix looking for kind and loving humans to call his family. He’s the kind of dog that looks to his humans for reassurance especially as he continues to experience many things for the first time. Chip may take a minute to warm up to other dogs and often looks to his humans to make sure everything is ok before approaching or joining in. Once he feels comfortable, he makes friends and loves to play - he’s quickly blossoming in his RI foster home with playful and welcoming pups.

Being an Aussie mix, Chip has the smarts to show for it. This young guy knows ‘sit’ and ‘down’ already and is eager to learn new tricks. Foster mom thinks he may even have a future in agility once he settles a bit into forever home life. Chip’s ideal adopter would be a confident dog owner that’s able to provide structure and reassurance to young Chip as he continues to explore the world.

Meet Charlie Pup!

Charlie is about 4 months old and we think he is a French bulldog mix with the sweetest little face and silliest ears. This sweet boy is a total social butterfly. He’s lived with other dogs, cats, and even big horses , and he thinks they are all fantastic. His absolute favorite thing in the whole world is kids! He loves their gentle pets and being their loyal little shadow.

Little Charlie was found alone in the woods luckily in time to still be healthy and happy. He’s ready for his next best chapter! To learn more about Charlie and how to adopt, visit https://tinyurl.com/yc4x7hen.

Meet Martini 🍸 , a fabulous 5-month-old female pup who is ready to shake up your life in the best way possible! True to her name, Martini is a bubbly, intoxicating ball of energy who brings life to every room she enters.

At just 5 months old, she is in peak puppyhood—meaning she’s constantly ready for playtime, outdoor adventures, and learning new things. Martini absolutely loves kids and thinks everyone is her potential best friend. Because she is so enthusiastic and still learning her own strength, her bouncy energy can be a bit too much for toddlers right now. She’d do best in a home with older children who can handle her playful zoomies, or with a family dedicated to continuing her basic manners training.
