Essential Dog hosted by Bad Dog Basics has two sessions coming up. In this class series, learn how to effectively communicate with your pup, build useable skills, and tackle common problems in a super fun environment.

Thursdays at 6:00p: 1/8, 1/15, 1/22, 1/29, 2/5
Sundays at 11:00a: 1/11, 1/18, 1/25, 2/1, (skips 2/8), 2/15

Leash Up! hosted by Adventure Dog RI has a session starting in January and another in February. You’ll learn how to build better leash skills, keep your dog focused around distractions, and enjoy getting outside together.

Adoptable Kaia and Puma graduated from Leash Up! class on Sunday! 🎓

The next class session starts up right after the new year! Join Trainer Ava Marceau KPA CTP, from Adventure Dog RI, for a 5-week group class designed to make walks more enjoyable and less chaotic. You’ll learn how to build better leash skills, keep your dog focused around distractions, and enjoy getting outside together. This class uses science-based, positive reinforcement training to help you and your dog work as a team, no force or intimidation, just effective relationship-building skills.

Our Pet Pantry Food Drive has helped put 1041 lbs of dog and cat food into the community for pet owners in need of support. THANK YOU to everyone who has donated so far and helped get the word out. Every week, our volunteers have been distributing to as many of the places listed below as possible and hear every week how big the need is right now.

We’ll continue collecting and distributing through the end of the year unopened canned and dry dog and cat food. No Empty Bowls!
