Our breed club agrees! If not in a crash tested crate, A harness and tether in the back seat is the way to go! Use a harness that has a back clip- (NEVER their collar) to buckle in for the trip. If you are traveling and taking your Lucky Dood along, keep them and you safe! Let the adventures begin!

πŸš— Buckle Up, Pups! Car Safety Matters 🐾

We all love taking our Australian Labradoodles on adventures, but safety should always come first.

Just like people, dogs are safest when properly restrained in the car. Allowing dogs to roam freely can be dangerous for them β€” and distracting for the driver.

βœ… Ride in the back seat when possible
βœ… Use a crash-tested harness, seat belt attachment, or secured crate
βœ… Keep heads and bodies safely inside the vehicle
βœ… Bring water and take breaks on longer trips

A proper restraint can help protect your dog in the event of sudden stops or an accident and keeps everyone safer on the road.

How does your ALD travel? Show us your safe riding setup in the comments! πŸΆπŸš™

Lucky Country Coat of Many Colors, "Dolly" had her babies! Tomorrow they will be a week old! These beautiful babies are off to their best start. Dolly, true to her temperament, is attentive to her six littles, and at the same time being the happy companion that she has always been. As beautiful on the inside as the outside. We have a last minute opening for a male from this litter. These pups will mature to around 50 pounds, and ready to come home June 20th. If you are looking for a new companion that isn't too big, and isn't too small, but just right, please visit our website and complete our preference form. We will be in touch! Are you the next "Home of the Lucky Dood"?

Dolly had her puppy count radiograph the same day as our Stella! How many do you see? Dolly and Jake will have chocolate pups with varying degrees of white, with the possibility of pups also having Dolly's roan markings. We think these pups will be right in the 40-50 pound range, about 18-19 inches tall at their shoulders. This litter is reserved. Pups will be ready for their homes in late June.

Stella had her puppy count radiograph yesterday. Not only do we check for how many, but also to peek at condition and placement for these new babies. All looks good! We think we might have an extra hiding behind a littermate. What do ya'll think? Look very closely and tell us what you see! Stella families, this is the first photo of your new baby!!! This litter will be chocolate standard pups with varying amounts of white markings, we think some might be like Stella, some like Eli, and some likely a combo of both!!!

Introducing Labradoodle Days I Am Your Father, "Luke"!

This guy at only 10 weeks old, is displaying an extraordinary level of confidence and calm for a pup. We are thrilled! Once Luke grows up and passes our preliminary and final testing at 2 years old, he will be a parent for Lucky Country. We estimate Luke to mature to a standard in size- about 20-21 inches at his shoulders, and about 50-55 pounds. While he is a dark chocolate now, he may change to a lighter chocolate. His coat is an almost perfect loose fleece that we expect he will maintain. Luke is in our started puppy program getting introduced to all of the concepts he will need as an adult dog living in a home. He will be a true Lucky Country Ambassador when he graduates from his training.

We are looking for a home that will act as a guardian ambassador that can partner with us to produce top quality Australian Labradoodles.

There are many advantages to partnering with Lucky Country; there are parameters that need to be met in order to bring him into your family.

Please visit our website to learn more about this important program. If you are interested, please complete our application. We would love to talk to you and introduce you to this important part of our program.
