Microchips are soooooo important‼️
Yesterday I was called to scan a microchip on this gorgeous, super lucky guy. He was blessed when a very cat friendly couple traveling across Saddle Road saw him at one of the hunter check in spots.🙀
Thin, hungry, thirsty but overall in good condition, they brought him home to Waikoloa. ❤️
His microchip led me to his mom, who was absolutely over the moon that he’d been found. He’d been missing from Hilo for about 3 months. She’s pretty sure this is the result of a nasty neighbor who took him and dumped him up there. 😡
As soon as she got my call she was on the road to Waikoloa to get him. Mom said on the ride home he lounged on the seat, snuggled on her shoulder and then slept on her head all night, happy boy😻
Make sure your cats and dogs are microchipped AND make sure you register the chip. If you don’t know your animal’s chip number, your vet, rescues, animal control and humane society can scan them and give it to you.
Here are a few places you can register. If your pet ever goes missing, file a lost report with your microchip manufacturer as well as on petcolove.org.

Mac’s such a special boy 😻He steals my heart every day💓 I have to be so careful getting out of the truck so I don’t squish him in the door. I lift him out, he jumps back in 😹
If our house wasn’t overflowing, this boy would be in it!!

The furbabies made lots of new friends today. Lava got spoiled with some hand fed treats from a sweet kitty loving young man from Hilo………treats are the way to her heart😹 Olive Oyl even let a visitor pet her, which rarely happens with this shy old girl. Mango of course was the center of attention😻 It’s all about him!
And a darling visitor and her mom, all the way from China🙀 fell in love with the blue and black kitties. Same colors they left at home with the cat sitter and dad. Definitely THE hardest part of vacation, leaving your babies home ❤️🐾

After flying for hours to get here, they hit Costco, Petco and even Island Naturals, to make this incredible donation. Visitors for years, they love spoiling the cats on their vacation property when they’re here, and spoiling all of our kitties via Amazon. This trip we were able to connect in person, so they could give me these lovely gifts. ❤️
I have been so blessed these past 10 years to meet in person and virtually, some of the greatest humans on this planet. If ever my faith in humanity is lost, all I have to do is think of all of you, you amazing Abaykitty people. Thank you so much Aunty Mercy and Uncle Robert for this incredible surprise.
