4/11/25 Update
She remains hospitalized and there is now concerns of septicemia. She is still extremely weak but making small strides in the right direction. Please keep praying for this sweet girl! 🙏🙏❤️❤️

A severely emaciated, dehydrated puppy was found by a good Samaritan alongside the road north of Wahpeton. She is currently being treated at Dakota Veterinary Hospital. She is extremely weak and when arrived she was barely able to lift her head but was still able to wag her tail in good spirits. She will need days of hospitalization with IV fluid therapy and continued treatments. Her prognosis is uncertain at this point, really depends on how her fragile body responds to the supportive care. We are not certain on how she ended up on the side of the road but so very thankful this person found her when she did and decided to open her home and heart to help.
