Put Suede up for sale yesterday. Today? He wins both opens and clocks our fastest time ever here. Guess he’s trying to impress his new future owners 😊. He also ran a nice pole pattern to end the day! He will be missed but it’s his time to shine with someone new! Message our page and try him out!

“Too Slick To Shake”- Bear making a smooth timed exhibition run that would have landed us 2nd overall in the open! He’s so confident and we can’t wait for his futurity year!

We’re thrilled to welcome IMA LEAVING YOU “Belle” to our broodmare band! She’s confirmed in foal to the great MP KING GEORGE, due in April, and we couldn’t be more excited about this cross.

💎 Belle is a money earner on the track and an own daughter by CORONAS LEAVING YOU (Corona Cartel), with a 103 SI and $278,358 in earnings. CORONAS LEAVING YOU has sired over $16 million in progeny earnings.

💎 Her dam, PAMPERED SILK, earned $8,258 on the track and is by the legendary STOLI (First Down Dash x Strawberry Silk). STOLI earned $332,237, won the All American Derby (G1), and was named World Champion 3-Year-Old C**t in 2001.

💎 Belle’s 2025 foal is sired by MP KING GEORGE (Dash Ta Fame x MP Meter My Hay) — a stallion currently competing under World Champion barrel racer Sherry Cervi. King George is a full brother to Feel The Sting, an NFR qualifier with $1.6 million in progeny earnings. Though still early in his career, King George has already earned $31,859, including Pink Buckle money in 2024.

Sad to hear of the passing of the legendary Slick By Design. What an impact he left on the barrel horse world and his legacy will continue to live on through his offspring.

We’re honored to be carrying a piece of that legacy here at Diamond K Legacy with our own 4-year-old stud, TOO SLICK TO SHAKE. As he steps into his futurity year and into his career as a sire, we are happy to see and feel Slick’s influence carry forward.

Ventured out to the Black Hills for a little training vacation. 🌲 West Fest didn’t go quite as planned, but Smoke enjoyed a much-needed break on the trails and we put some good, hard miles on our 2- and 3-year-olds. Huge thanks to — great place to stay, awesome hosts, and an unbeatable trail location! Highly recommend to anyone looking for a spot to camp with horses.

💎 PC REMARKABLE 💎 “Smoke” had an outstanding weekend at Blazin Barrels finals and we officially have a left running horse! This stallion is so gritty and runs so hard-we already can’t wait for the next! This was our second run ever going to the left and he handled it like a champ!

✨ Friday we competed in the high stakes slot race coming in 6th place with a 15.0 time winning $480 and a beautiful headstall donated by -Thank you so much for your donation
✨ Today we beat our time with a 14.8 and ended up first place in the adult division winning $138 and a beautiful Pendleton suitcase
✨ In the open we placed 4th out of 103 runners winning $380 and a gift certificate to Fischer Custom Concrete- thank you for your donation!

What a fun hometown celebration this Labor Day weekend! 🎉 Diamond K Legacy Horses was proud to be part of the parade, and we couldn’t have asked for a better crew. Our two stallions, PC REMARKABLE “Smoke” and TOO SLICK TO SHAKE “Bear”, walked through like true gentlemen. A huge thank you to Shana for riding Bear in his very first parade and to Dawson for taking our 3-year-old filly, Echo, through her first one as well!

We’re so grateful to our family and friends who joined us and rocked their favorite DKL gear. Your support means the world. 💙🐴

💎 PC REMARKABLE 💎“Smoke” and I entered our FIRST SDRA this weekend at our hometown rodeo✨ It was quite the initiation! The weather gave us the true South Dakota welcome 🌧️ The mud may have helped keep our third barrel standing, but this stallion handled it all like a pro. His first time under the lights, with a big crowd, wet ground, and even running to the left… nothing phased him. He stayed confident and honest, and we were just one out of the money despite me asking him to take it safe and steady. Proud is an understatement. 💙 We had the best cheering section around, and I can’t thank our family and friends enough for supporting us. On to the next!

We were invited and honored to compete on Team USA 🇺🇸 against Team South Africa 🇿🇦 tonight at Webb Ranches ( 8 USA vs 8 SF ). PC REMARKABLE placing 3rd overall and even got to give his biggest fan a ride! Truly blessed to train and compete with such a well minded stud!
