Our play yards at Pet Circle Regional Animal Center are quiet — too quiet. We have some amazing volunteers, but we need more. The balls need to be tossed. The tails need more time to wag. And our dogs are waiting patiently, wondering where all the humans are.

We need YOU to bring life back to our yards. Whether it's tossing a frisbee, sharing a belly rub, or just sitting in the yard with a furry friend, your time means the world to them.

🐶 Meet Thaddeus, a 2-yr-old, 47 lb dynamo of joy with a big heart and an even bigger personality. 💥 He’s full of energy, always ready to dash across the yard or chase down his favorite toy. Whether it’s playtime with other pups or goofy zoomies just for fun, Thaddeus brings the party wherever he goes! 🎉 He also spent some time at Baylor last week taking photos with athletes and was a rock star! He had a blast getting all of that attention. He also played with his bestie, Trey, in the pool living their best lives!

Despite his wild side, he’s incredibly loving and sweet. He’ll melt your heart when it’s time to wind down. If you’re looking for a playful companion who gives great hugs and goofy grins, Thaddeus is your guy.

🛻 Meet Repo, a 4-yr-old, 61 lb. ultimate truck dog!

If you’re looking for a low-maintenance buddy who’s happiest just being near you, Repo is your guy. This handsome fella has mastered the art of relaxation and is a firm believer that the best things in life are soft beds, and belly rubs.

🐶 Repo is fine with other dogs but isn’t looking to start a playgroup. He’s more of a “coexist in peace” kind of guy.

💕His hobbies include sitting next to you, being adored, and doing absolutely nothing.

🌟 A total sweetheart who prefers cuddles over chaos. He’s got an old soul in a chill body.

🐾 Meet Huckleberry, a 2-yr-old, 50-lb. sweetheart!🐾

Huckleberry has been at the shelter for way too long - come get this boy! He is such a fun pup who deserves his second chance. He came to the shelter back in January in rough shape and had obviously had a tough start. His sweet and friendly nature makes him a great dog, and he's a fan favorite among the Pet Circle staff.

Are you ready to live your best life covered in fur, drool, and unconditional love?
Do you enjoy talking to animals more than people?
Have you always dreamed of being a p**p-scooping superhero?

Then, congratulations — we want YOU! 💥

At Pet Circle Regional Animal Center, we’re looking for brave souls (with a sense of humor) to join our team of amazing volunteers.

Robbie gave some great demonstrations in the video of the things we need help with DAILY, including:

🧹 Mastering the art of holding a mop while being barked at incessantly
💩 Accepting that p**p happens — a lot
🧼 Washing laundry and dishes — over, and over, and over
🥓 Feeding lots of hungry bellies
🐶 Petting and walking dogs who think they weigh 5 lbs but definitely do not
😺 Visiting cats who clearly believe they are in charge (they are)
🥎 Providing enrichment for dogs so they aren't so bored

Meet Jasper, a barn cat with the charm of a gremlin and the people skills of a traffic cone. He’s not here to be your friend—he’s here to work. Rodents? Gone. Personal space? Demanded. Affection? You wish.
