Stretch, meditate, and unwind while surrounded by adorable kittens at Animal Welfare Association! Each one-hour class is led by a talented instructor and offers the perfect combination of relaxation, movement, and kitten cuddles. 💙

📦🐾 A friendly reminder that we're still collecting box bottoms!

With the influx of kittens coming into the shelter, we go through about 80 box bottom litter pans every single day and are constantly running low.

Our team regularly visits local grocery and liquor stores to pick up extras whenever we can, but we'd truly appreciate a little help from our community, too. 💛

If you have clean, shallow box bottoms from recent shopping trips, such as canned food trays, soda cases, or other cardboard packaging, please consider dropping them off at the shelter.

These simple trays provide cozy spaces, make cleanup easier, and are used daily for our cats and small animals (just ask these adorable faces! 🐱🐹).

Thank you for helping us turn everyday items into comfort for shelter pets.

🚨 WLW this week: our most urgently needed item is Miracle ni***es 🍼🐾

These tiny but mighty supplies help us care for our youngest and most vulnerable kittens during kitten season. When orphaned babies arrive, Miracle ni***es are an essential part of providing the round-the-clock care they need.

We’re also running low on several everyday items that help keep the shelter clean, organized, and running smoothly (see the full list in the image 👇).

🐱 Found kittens alone? Before you scoop them up, take a moment to observe.

During kitten season, it’s common to find young kittens by themselves and assume they’ve been abandoned. In many cases, their mother is nearby searching for food and will return once the area is quiet.

Before intervening, take a moment to assess the situation and watch from a safe distance. Giving mom a chance to return may be the best thing you can do for the kittens. ❤️

If the kittens appear sick, injured, cold, or in immediate danger, they need help right away. Otherwise, waiting and observing can give them the best chance of staying with their mother.

As kitten season continues, AWA is caring for more vulnerable kittens than ever. You can make a lifesaving difference by fostering, donating, volunteering, adopting, and supporting spay/neuter efforts that help prevent unwanted litters.

Every action saves lives. 🐾

Hi, I'm Mooshy 💚🐾

I may be a little shy when we first meet, but give me a moment and you'll discover a sweet girl who loves gentle attention, cozy naps, and, of course, Churu treats.

My friends here say one of my cutest features is my extra toes. I like to think they just mean I have a little extra love to give. 🥹

Most days, you'll find me quietly observing the world around me, finding comfort in soft blankets, kind voices, and the company of people who understand that trust is something special.

And if you happen to bring treats? Well... we might become best friends very quickly. 💕

I'm hoping to find a forever home where I can be myself, take things at my own pace, and share all the love hidden behind my shy little smile.
