Two whole years in rescue, and my sweet Luna is still waiting for a family to call her own.

Being blind has never stopped this girl from living her life to the fullest. She continues to amaze me with her independence, determination, and ability to navigate the world in her own special way. 🥹

Luna doesn’t need to see the world to know what love feels like. She needs someone willing to give her the chance to experience it in a home of her very own.

As we head into the holiday season, my biggest wish for Luna is that this will finally be the year she gets to spend the holidays with her forever family. A cozy bed, a loving home, a feline companion, and someone who will cherish her for the wonderful girl she is. ❤️

Please don’t overlook Luna because she’s different. Sometimes the most special souls are the ones who need us to see beyond their disabilities. 🐾

🐾❤️ HELP PAY DOWN GOOSE’S MEDICAL BILLS — WE FINALLY HAVE ANSWERS!

After months of battling ongoing skin issues, inflammation, and painful lesions, Goose’s biopsy results have finally given us a diagnosis.

Our sweet boy has Eosinophilic Granuloma Complex (EGC), an inflammatory skin condition associated with allergic reactions. Unfortunately, we still don’t know exactly what is triggering his reactions. 💔

Goose has been through so much already, from repeated veterinary appointments and medications to a skin biopsy, all while trying to get some relief from his uncomfortable skin condition.

His journey is far from over. He is scheduled to see a veterinary dermatologist at a specialty hospital in December, where we hope to understand his allergies better and develop a treatment plan to keep him comfortable and healthy. ❤️

In the meantime, I’m hoping to close out his outstanding medical bills with his primary veterinarian before we begin the next chapter of his care.

Goose is such a sweet boy, and it breaks my heart that he’s had to deal with so much at such a young age. I want to give him the best chance at a comfortable, happy, and healthy life. 🥹❤️

🐈‍⬛🖤 A little fluff, a little sass, and a whole lot of personality. That’s Miss Houdini!

There’s something so endearing about this girl and her funny little quirks. One moment she’s sprawled out on her back without a care in the world, and the next she’s giving you that signature Houdini stare, as if she’s questioning why you’re interrupting her very important lounging session.

She’s independent, wonderfully quirky, and has a softer side that makes her all the more lovable. She may not always be the first to ask for affection, but she certainly enjoys having someone nearby to share her cozy moments with. ❤️

And as the weather gets cooler and the days get shorter, I can’t help but think how lovely it would be for Houdini to have a cozy little corner and a family of her very own to spend the season with. 🍂🐾

With those mesmerizing green eyes and a personality that’s anything but small, Abigail has a funny way of charming just about everyone she meets.

Don’t let her occasionally skittish nature fool you. Abigail loves people and often greets new guests first. She’s curious, a little mischievous, and always keeping an eye on what’s happening around her. 🐾

And the secret to winning her heart? Treats, snacks, more snacks, and especially whipped cream! This girl knows exactly what she likes.

As the spooky season comes to an end and we head into the holidays, I can’t help but wish that Abigail’s forever family is somewhere out there, just waiting to fall under her charm.

After more than a year in the rescue, perhaps a little magic is all she needs to find a home of her own finally. 🍁❤️

🎃🐈‍⬛ Trick or Treat! Give Us Something Good to Eat! 🧡

Our little trick-or-treaters at KFM Rescue aren’t asking for candy this Halloween. They’re hoping for something even better: a little help filling their food bowls! 🐾

With so many hungry mouths to feed, both inside the rescue and throughout my three feral cat colonies, food is one of my biggest ongoing expenses. And with adoptions moving slowly, the fosters still depend on us for the same love, care, and full bellies every day.

This spooky season, I am asking my wonderful community to consider treating the rescue kitties to something from their wish list! 🍬

At one year old, Sophie is the perfect combination of playful, mischievous, charming, and oh-so-sweet. She’s got a funny little personality that keeps things entertaining.

It’s easy to see why everyone gravitates toward tiny kittens, but girls like Sophie have just as much to offer. She’s still young, full of kitten energy, and has all the curiosity and playfulness that make this stage of life so much fun.

She really is the whole package, just with a little more personality already developed! 🤎🐾

Our sweet Heidi is growing up so quickly, and her gorgeous tortoiseshell coat couldn’t be more fitting for the season. With those golden eyes, little splashes of orange, and the sweetest face, she looks like she was made for cozy fall evenings.

It’s hard to believe this lovely girl is already six months old! One minute they’re tiny kittens, and the next they’re growing into beautiful young cats with their own little personalities. 🥹

For now, Heidi seems perfectly content enjoying a soft blanket and a cozy place to lounge. Hopefully, before too long, she’ll have a forever home where she can spend all her future autumns. 🍁🐾

With her sweet little face, curious nature, and talent for making herself comfortable just about anywhere, Lola has a way of making even the simplest moments adorable. 🤎

This October also marks one whole year of Lola being available for adoption. It’s hard to believe this lovely girl has spent an entire year with me, watching the seasons come and go.

She’s certainly made herself at home here, but I’m hoping this will be the last autumn she spends waiting for a home of her very own. 🍁

Prue may be a quiet, shy girl who takes her time with people and with new situations, but she is one of those cats who asks for very little and gives you something incredibly special in return. She isn’t going to rush into your lap or greet every visitor at the door, and that’s okay.

Prue would do best with someone calm, patient, and gentle. Someone who won’t try to rush her, but will give her the time and space to feel safe and let trust build naturally.

Because underneath that timid exterior is such a sweet little soul.

She needs a home that will love her exactly as she is, not for who they hope she might become, but for the soft, thoughtful girl she already is. 🐾🤍
