Joette Kennel Joette kennel is a family owned boarding and grooming facility dedicated to providing a “home away from home” for your fur babies. We love all breeds of dogs.

Our mission is to treat every pup like our own and every owner with respectful, transparent service. We are located 1/2 mile northwest of Lowder. Joette Kennel is a family-owned business, with the owners living on the property. We have a very caring and dedicated staff that all have the same thing in common--a strong love for animals. The kennel was established for our passion of making sure dogs

are taken care of while their owners are away. We want to be your dog's home away from home. We will love and care for your dogs just as we do our own, because we know how much they are considered as part of the family. We have spacious kennels for your dog, and even bigger ones if you have more than one dog. We have two large and secure fenced yards for your dog(s) to play in a few times each day. If your dog is a little shy of others, we even have a separate room just for him/her to stay in to feel comfortable! All the kennels are air conditioned in the summer, and heated in the winter. We are always guaranteed to have room for your pet, no matter what the occasion may be. We always look forward to seeing your pet(s), and new faces are always welcome! Running and working at a dog boarding and grooming facility is so much more than playing and loving on the dogs. There is an incredible amount of hard work, dedication, patience, and love that goes into caring for every dog that walks through our doors. We see the happy, outgoing dogs who run through our doors like they own the place, but we also see the scared dogs, the anxious dogs, the reactive dogs, and sometimes even the aggressive dogs. We work hard every day to earn their trust, make them feel safe, and give them the care and compassion they deserve in hopes that they can overcome those fears while being with us. Every dog is different. Every dog has their own personality, needs, fears, and routines. Learning those things and providing the best possible experience for them is something we take great pride in. Some days are easy, and some days are challenging, but knowing that our clients trust us with their beloved pets makes it all worthwhile. When we receive kind words, positive reviews, and thoughtful comments, it reminds us why we do what we do and why we continue to pour our hearts into this kennel every single day. 🤍

Joette Kennel is a family-owned dog Boarding and Grooming facility located in the quiet country of Virden, Illinois. Offering a home away from home for your four legged babies while you’re on vacation, have a family emergency or just simply need/want to get your fur babies socialized. Our Hall for larger dogs holds 19 kennels total with 3 larger kennels for families with multiple dogs including outside run’s connected while our Quiet Place Suites holds 8 kennels for elderly, smaller or more anxious dogs. During the week we are open from 8:30am - 10am OR 5:30pm - 7pm, 8:30am - 10am Saturday and 5pm - 7pm on Sunday.
