What a lovely way to end a fun lesson day! 😍

It was a hot one today! 🥵
• The little bitty ones took adventures around the pond with us doing our best to stay in the shade. 🌿

• Our older kiddos worked on specific skills for their age groups while playing relay games in the water! 💦 Their competitiveness always makes for the most entertaining lessons! 🤣

Thankful for fans and shades, saintly horses, and fun kiddos! ♥️🐴

Cleaning stalls: 10% cleaning, 10% talking to the horse, and 80% making life decisions.

I swear the world would be a better place if everyone had the opportunity to scoop some horse p**p. 🤣

What a great Monday of lessons! 🤩

• It started with the cutest littles taking an adventure around the pond, “going through the tunnel” as they like to call it, and working on their balance skills. 😍

I had prepared unmounted lessons, checklists, & games due to rain on the radar for our older riders and we decided to continue with the plan even with the sunshine. ☀️

• Our younger group played horse bingo and a parts of the horse game with a twist. I called out a part of the horse and they had to race against their opponent to “paint” that part of the horse. Bonus points for the first one to get it correct, race to the bean bag and make it into the bucket. The competitiveness is STRONG with this group 😂 but the giggles and cheering on their teammates was music to my ears! ♥️🐴

• Our older group completely checked off the whole page of their level list!! 👏🏼 We discussed topics like equine nutrition, the intricate parts of the horse and tack, perfected our knot tying skills, etc. Their in depth questions and conversations really impressed me! We finished with a game of horse taboo. Hilarious and the perfect way to end a lesson night! 😂😂

3 trail rides today and I managed to only get pictures of the last group. A family of 3 generations. What a privilege to share our horses and inspire the love of riding with such a sweet family. ♥️🐴
