Thank You, Coach Chandler ❤️🏀
Today we say thank you to Coach Stephen Chandler as he steps down as head coach of the Hanceville High School Bulldogs basketball program.
Coach Chandler was the sixth head coach in program history and has been a major part of Bulldog basketball for more than a decade. He began helping the program in 2009 and officially started teaching at Hanceville in 2013. His dedication to the school and community has left a lasting impact on countless student-athletes.
Under his leadership, the Bulldogs made a historic Final Four appearance during the 2019–2020 season, cementing one of the greatest runs in school history. He was also recognized for his excellence on the sidelines, earning 3A Coach of the Year honors and being named The Cullman Times Coach of the Year.
More than the wins and awards, Coach Chandler built relationships, developed young men, and represented Hanceville with pride and integrity.
We thank you, Coach, for your years of service, leadership, and commitment to Bulldog basketball. Your impact will be felt for years to come.
The search for the next head coach of the Hanceville Bulldogs will begin immediately.
