*** Update - 10:50 PM - the donkeys have water !! The issue is fixed and they are finishing patching the road and it should be open before midnight.

My apologies to anyone trying to go down Retreat Road in Southampton tonight - it is closed at our property.

We woke up to no water pressure and just a trickle of water. Turns out our water connection is on a dead end. I believe this means all the sediment in the water main comes in our direction, and with the fire and hydrants used last night, that probably stirred up more.

But to fix it, they apparently have to dig up the street. So ….

We apologize for interrupting the Leisuretown-Wawa pipeline, and inconveniencing travelers. Water is important, and we tend to drink a lot of it around here! A wise woman once said “the donkeys are thirsty”
