There’s something pretty wonderful about watching your dog take off across an open field without a care in the world.

The full-speed sprints, zooming through our land, the occasional detour to investigate an interesting smell. We love seeing dogs make the most of every inch of our space.

Your dog could spend 20 minutes investigating one patch of grass and consider it time well spent.

Sniffing, exploring unfamiliar places, making choices, and discovering new things are all forms of enrichment. They give dogs opportunities to use their brains and engage with the world in ways that physical exercise alone doesn't.

🐾 Meet Ranger! 🐾

Ranger is a 3-year-old Australian Kelpie/Cattle Dog mix who was rescued from Texas!

Ranger is loyal, full of energy, and a big cuddle bug with his parents. He loves being outside, whether he’s going for walks or getting in some serious playtime.

When Ranger comes to Dairy Ridge Dog Run, you’ll find him playing fetch with all the different balls, sprinting the full length of the fields, and keeping a close eye on the cows.

His family says if Ranger could spend every day playing at the dog run, he would! 🧡

We’re happy to have Ranger as part of our Dairy Ridge crew!
