Sarah's Second Chance Dog Rescue We rescue dogs from the state of CT. We spay/neuter, update them on all their shots, and bloodwork testing before they go into their new forever homes.

We are not a 501c3, we are just rescuers who love rescuing and finding loving homes for the dogs. We are a small non-profit dog rescue. We rescue dogs from high-kill shelters, on their last day. We give them a second chance at life. Most of these dogs have never felt a loving home, a warm bed, a toy to play with, or someone to just give them a pat on the head. We rescue dogs from shelters and owne

r surrenders from the state of Connecticut. We are a very small dedicated group, who run this rescue only on donations, and out of our own pockets. Any donation is never too little and it is always greatly appreciated. We also help families, who need to surrender their dogs, and we will help them find foster homes or forever homes for them. When we rescue a dog, the dog is brought to the vet to get a clean bill of health. They are given a Rabie shot, Distemper shot, Bordetella shot, checked for Lyme Disease, Heartworm and for Parasites. Then they are micro-chipped and neutered or spayed. If we have a dog that has medical issues, and they need surgery, we try to do a fundraiser to help with the medical bills. We pay for all vet bills out of our own pockets, so any donation is greatly appreciated. We collect refundable bottles and cans all year round.
We would like to thank everyone who donates their refundable bottles, cans and glass bottles to our rescue! You may not know how much it helps with vetting bills! Every little helps, even 10 cents a bottle, especially with the cost of everything now a days! Thank you again! ❤❤❤
Along with the refundable bottle and cans, we now take all juice, sport drinks, tea and coffee bottles and cans.
They can be dropped off any time or day and left by the garage doors at 182 Skinner Rd, Vernon CT 06066. We are always in need of refundable bottles and cans. You think it's only 10 cents, but those 10 cents add up and help us with paying vet bills for all our rescue and sanctuary dogs. This is a great way to donate to our rescue. It is an on going collection yearly. Please, help us and donate your refundable bottles and cans to our rescue.

So again, we had scammers post on our site about t-shirts that we are supposedly selling .. (A soft reminder ❤️ — our Sarah's Second Chance Dog Rescue t-shirt will be around for a short time. Peek at it whenever you want! Then they post a link to see the shirts)..
We are NOT selling any t-shirts and please, DO NOT click on any link that they are posting. I have banned, blocked, reported it and deleted the posts so many times. They just keep coming back on our site. It's so annoying! There's gotta be a way to stop these scammers from preying on people. FB has got to start to step up and do something, you report them, and they still come back! UGH
