We are a small non-profit dog rescue. We rescue dogs from high-kill shelters, on their last day. We give them a second chance at life.
Most of these dogs have never felt a loving home, a warm bed, a toy to play with, or someone to just give them a pat on the head. We rescue dogs from shelters and owner surrenders from the state of Connecticut. We are a very small dedicated group, who run this rescue only on donations, and out of our own pockets. Any donation is never too little and it is always greatly appreciated. We also help f
amilies, who need to surrender their dogs, and we will help them find foster homes or forever homes for them. When we rescue a dog, the dog is brought to the vet to get a clean bill of health. They are given a Rabie shot, Distemper shot, Bordetella shot, checked for Lyme Disease, Heartworm and for Parasites. Then they are micro-chipped and neutered or spayed. If we have a dog that has medical issues, and they need surgery, we try to do a fundraiser to help with the medical bills. We pay for all vet bills out of our own pockets, so any donation is greatly appreciated. Ugh Maxx, I got a call from your mom on Thursday to say you had passed away and I'm devastated. All our fosters are special but I have a handful that are just really special.Maxx you're one of them. Even after you were adopted, your amazing mom let me visit you and Sophie anytime I wanted.Luckily I got to see you recently and everytime I saw you was pure love I feel blessed. Maxx was one of my long time fosters because he was abused by his prior owners and he bit.Finding him someone who understood his issues was no easy feet and even though he came along way with me he still needed patience and understanding, thank you Carol for loving him and giving him that. Maxx you will always live in my heart ❤️ I love you

Meet Beau!
Beau is a 1 year old Beagle with a heart full of love and is about 25 lbs of playful energy. This sweet boy is fully vetted, neutered, crate trained and house trained. He's wonderful with kids, other dogs and every person he meets. Cats aren't really his thing, so no cats.
Beau loves car rides, trips to the park, and playtime galore. Once he's had his fun, he's all about curling up for a good snuggle.
He's working on his recall and could really shine with a little more training. Beau does pull a bit on a leash at first but settles into a nice walk after he gets his wiggles out.
He's a good boy who sometimes chews when bored, but give him a bully stick and he's happy as can be. Beau is ready to bring joy, and adventure, and cuddles to his forever home.
Please contact Nicole at (413)-374-0578

Robbi took in a dog from a local dog pound who needs our help. He is a 7 yr old male terrier mix named Rodney. He has a bunch of medical issues totaling around $1000 with no end in site. Can Rodney be saved, YES! He continues to get tests to find out what exactly is wrong with him so that he can get the meds he needs. We are in need of your help. We always hate to ask, but if you can spare a few dollars to help Rodney, it would be so appreciated.

We also have dogs that are non-adoptable because of medical and behavior issues (mostly senior dogs) and they will stay with us until the end of their lives. They will be our sanctuary dogs.
