2026 will be the Year of the Horse

Horses symbolize strength, freedom, heart, and forward movement.

They remind us that progress doesn’t always look loud or fast, I can sometimes look like quiet determination, sometimes like running wide open, and sometimes just simply showing up and staying grounded.

A Year of the Horse feels like an invitation to move forward with courage, to listen to our instincts, and to trust the path beneath our feet… even when we can’t see the whole road ahead.
It’s about balance too, power paired with gentleness, independence balanced with connection.

Whether this year finds us running freely with open hearts, or standing still on higher ground. Let's honor our own pace.

May this Year of the Horse remind us that strength can be both powerful and gentle, and that forward doesn’t always mean fast, it can simply mean being faithful to where we are and where we’re being led.

Time to step into the year that was built for your rise. 🙌🏽

PUPPY OF THE MONTH

Meet Eevie!!

She is our January Puppy of the Month.

Get to know Eevie 🐾🐾

Her human mommy, Tonya Selby, took her little boys to go "look" at her, and she found out they shared a birthday, she knew it was meant to be, and Eevie found her forever home.
Eevie replaces her big corgi sister Koda, that she never knew sadly, after 9 years of searching.
She has quickly filled the corgi-sized hole in her momma's heart!
Eevie is a 4 month old Pembroke Welsh Corgi and she exhibits everything that corgis are known for: whole-butt wiggles, sleeping on her back, snuggling on her humans at night, sassy attitude, and smart, almost devious reactions.

Eevie favorite things are: any squeaky toy or balls, plastic bottles to chew, stealing socks and rags as soon as they are within her reach, chicken p**p🤮, being chased by her little boys, chasing the cat, biting her two older sibling dogs faces, chewing on fingers with her razor sharp teeth, and her most favorite thing of all-licking the dishwasher door before the dishes are clean🤣

Eevie's least favorite things are: the chickens when they are loose. She feels they are like giant velociraptors that want to feed on her and shes deathly terrified-though again-appreciates the p**p.

She also thinks the word "NO" is an invitation to chase her. She doesn't quite understand why mommy's face turns colors when she runs away🙃

Overall, shes the perfect addition to her family, who weren't quite ready for a puppy, but couldn't imagine life without her.

Congratulations to little Eevie!

🐾Today is National Pet Travel Safety Day 🐾

Your furry friends deserve safe adventures, too!
Here are a few tips to keep your pet secure while out on the road:

✔️ Keep your pet secure:
Make sure your pet is securely fastened in their carrier.
✔️ Take frequent breaks:
This will help your pet stretch their legs and relieve themselves & make their travel easy
✔️ Provide plenty of water:
Make sure your pet has access to fresh water at all times.
✔️ Avoid leaving your pet unattended in the car:
Even for a short period of time, it can be dangerous for your pet.
✔️ Be aware of your surroundings:
Keep an eye on your pet at all times, especially in unfamiliar places as they can become afraid and run off.

Safe travels makes for happy tails!🐶🐱
