Jumonville Farms bred and owned Eagles Up, Places in the $275,200 Sam Houston Derby-G3! 🎉

Third-place finisher Eagles Up, sent off as the post-time favorite, closed late under Luis Vivanco but fell short of the top two. The c**t, by One Famous Eagle, had placed second in last year’s EVD Futurity-G2.

He was bred in Louisiana by Jumonville Farms and is out of U R Blue, by Walk Thru Fire. Co-owned by Mario H. Vazquez and Jumonville Farms, Eagles Up was a $75,000 purchase from the 2024 Heritage Place Fall Mixed Sale. He now has a record of 3-2-2 from nine starts with earnings of $106,743.
