Not to be outdone, a third clutch - the one I actually expected first - is pipping today! This is the 2nd clutch from our Coral makers and first baby looks like it MAY BE an Arctic Coral type?

Can't wait to see what winds up hatching between the 3 clutches! 😁🥚🐍⚜️

I've been waiting for my most recent clutch to hatch to post updates, but while the first 2 babies pipped on day 51 & 52, 5 more days have passed and the remaining ones seem cozy in the egg still 🤷🏻‍♀️

The next clutch I was expecting to hatch appears to still be cooking, but these 2 babies from two different, later clutches didn't feel like waiting any longer I guess, pipping on day 49 & 50.

Our 2nd clutch of the day just started hatching and the first one is briiiiiiight! This is our 6th clutch of the season, and from one of our favorite girls, Mona Lisa (don't tell the others! 🤫😆)

Can't wait to see the others! ☀️😎⚜️

This pretty little Purple Line Albino Conda het Lavender was emerging from its egg as I woke up to clutch #5 hatching this morning! I'm pretty darn excited about this one since it proved out my Lavender female's 66% het!

This first time breeder got partially eggbound as she was laying this clutch - seems like some slugs got turned sideways and stacked up after she laid these first 3 fertile eggs - and while she was able to successfully lay the remaining eggs over the next few days, 3 of the other fertile eggs I believe suffocated before she laid them, so I was really thinking the remaining viable eggs might be too small of a sample size to prove out either of this pairing's hets.

This was also the first pairing that we had a clutch from where the main goal was to prove out the hets, since the majority of our initial collection was all visual recessives +/- incomplete or complete dominants or 100% hets. Hoping we may still be able to prove the male's 50% het Lavender, but the odds are even slimmer there.

Pairing was: Lavender, 66% het Albino (SpreadHeads) x Purple Line Albino Superconda, 100% het Axanthic, 50% het Lavender ()

These babies are all slamming tong fed, unscented pinks every time, and most will be ready to go soon! First 7 are from Arctic dh Coral x Purple Line Extreme Red Arctic Conda dh Coral clutch & last one is from Purple Line Extreme Red Arctic dh Sunburst, pos het Axanthic x Extreme Red Albino Conda het Sable clutch 🪸☀️⚜️

Updates from clutch #4 last week: really, really nice Axanthic babies in this clutch, both the regular and Conda! Also had a nice mix of normal pattern vs Conda throughout the clutch - 4 of each - and got a nice Toxic ♀️& ♂️. We did hit on the Toxic Conda, but unfortunately he didn't make it out of the egg. Not sure why, except that he looked to have spinal deformities, so probably for the best... RIP pretty little guy 🫶🏻😭🪦

Hoping we might hit that combo again in the small second clutch, but we'll see. 🤞🏻☣️⚜️

Happy 1st Birthday to these 2 gorgeous babies we produced here last year - ♂️ Mai Tai Conda, Artemis & ♀️Mai Tai Superconda, Rowan - the first and last hatchling from our first ever clutch that hatched last May 🫶🏻🫶🏻🫶🏻 We couldn't help but hold both of them back for different future projects.

I think sprinkled some RBE magic in their sire (a la Paul Rudd with a handful of glitter) 😍🍹⚜️

Clutch #3: Brief update since there was only 1 egg that made it through incubation, but man was I a bit shocked and really excited to see that little "Uno" wound up being a Mai Tai Superconda, the best possible outcome of the pairing for this clutch!
