Last weekend, we attended a wonderfully organized CFA cat show in Portland, Oregon. The event was filled with stunning cats, adorable kittens, and so many cat lovers sharing the same passion.

On Saturday, a family stopped by our benching area with their 10-year-old son. His eyes lit up the moment he saw our kittens. I handed him one of them to hold — and instantly, the little kitten began to knead and purr, settling comfortably in the boy’s arms. You could just see the pure joy on his face. The family went on to see other cats and breeds, but the next day, the boy returned with his mom. He said softly that he loves this kitten, but sadly, it was out of their budget. He just came to see the kitten again.
I asked what their budget was — it was much less than what we usually ask for — but in that moment, I saw how much that kitten meant to him. So I said they could have the kitten for that price. The boy and his mom were both in tears, deeply touched.

For me, being a breeder is not just about money. It’s about finding loving homes and creating happiness — especially for children who dream of having a kitten of their own.
