The Neighbor story started with Charlie, a playful pup from Portland who, at just 8 years old, began struggling with joint pain and autoimmune health issues. His parents, Paul and Mary, turned to fresh, wholesome cooking. The change in Charlie’s health was almost immediate. Neighbors noticed, other dogs thrived, and before long, Neighbor Pet Food was born.

Today, their team continues to cook in a USDA-certified Portland kitchen, source locally, reduce waste, and support animal welfare organizations across the Pacific Northwest. All in honor of Charlie’s neighborly spirit. 💚

Theo, our rep, volunteers with a local shelter and had an unexpected emergency while helping transport kittens — so he’ll be joining us next month instead.
