Rodney may be built low to the ground, but his personality is approximately 10 feet tall.

This 1-year-old Bulldog mix is short, squatty, and equipped with some seriously little legs—but don't worry, he makes up for what he lacks in height with an unreasonable amount of HAPPY. Rodney is a friend to all and basically the life of every party he attends. He hangs out in our mixed social playgroups and is always ready to mingle, play, and make sure everyone is having as much fun as he is.

Little legs. Big personality. Absolutely zero boring.

If “sweetheart” was a dog, it would be Mona. This adorable Pharaoh Hound mix is the definition of sweet, gentle, and oh-so-cuddly. 🥹💕 Mona is happiest when she’s close to her people, soaking up affection and giving all the best snuggles in return. Basically, she’s a professional cuddlebug with a heart of gold! 🐾💗

Mona would love a home where she can relax, feel safe, and be her sweet little self. She would do best with a laid-back, respectful male dog who understands personal space and isn’t looking to turn every moment into a wrestling match. 🐶💕 She’s all about peaceful companionship and good vibes!

We also suspect Mona may already be housebroken—what a smart little lady! ✨

ATTENTION: LOCAL LAND BARON SEEKING NEW ESTATE. 🚨🏡

His name is Jennings, and he's a 6-month-old hound mix who is social with other dogs and currently working on acquiring all available real estate.

Walks with Jennings are less “walks” and more hostile land acquisitions.

That bush? Jennings owns it.
Fire hydrant? Jennings property.
Mailbox? Claimed.
Random tuft of grass? ANNEXED. 🚩
Your neighbor’s Honda Civic? He’s looking into the paperwork.

So if you're hoping to power walk three miles before breakfast, Jennings would like you to calm down. He has business to conduct. There are assets to acquire. Empires aren't built in a day.

He's only 6 months old, so he has plenty of time to grow into a distinguished adult gentleman—or continue becoming a tiny property tycoon who believes the entire neighborhood belongs to him. 🏡📈

He's social with other dogs, ridiculously cute, and ready for a home of his own.

Which is funny, because according to Jennings, he already owns yours.

At 8 years old, Toby has his priorities figured out: a good walk, a good ball, a good couch, and making sure you remember he’s the center of attention. 😂🐾

This little Jack Russell recently showed us just how great he is outside the shelter—he’s a dream on leash, rides quietly in the car, snoozes like a champ at home, and had zero accidents! He also does well with small dogs and is looking for a home with kids 10+.

💕 WHY IS SIZZLE STILL HERE?! 💕

Seriously… we don’t understand it! How has this sweet girl not been scooped up yet?! 🥺🐾 Sizzle is the kind of dog who just wants the simple things in life: a nice walk in the park, some quality time with her favorite person, and then straight to the couch for a good old-fashioned snuggle session. 🥰🛋️

This girl is an absolute princess 👑 and she has made it very clear that she would like ALL the hooman attention to herself, thank you very much! 😂💕 Because of that, Sizzle would do best as the only pet in her home so she can soak up all the love she deserves.

And her leash manners?! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ She walks AMAZINGLY on leash and would make the perfect little adventure buddy. She’s also a Dog’s Day Out ROCKSTAR and has received nothing but glowing reviews from everyone lucky enough to spend time with her! 🌟🐶

And HELLOOOOO… can we please talk about those EARS?! 👂😂 I mean… C’MON. Look at her! Those ears alone deserve their own fan club!

Sizzle is sweet. She’s loving. She’s goofy. She’s cuddly. She’s got the ears. She’s got the leash skills. She’s got the Dog’s Day Out reviews. What more could you possibly want?! 😍

Give Jetski a squeaky toy and he immediately becomes a tiny unlicensed surgeon. 🩺🧸 Squeaker located. Incision made. Stuffing removed. Cause of death: Jetski.

He does not play with toys. He needs to know what's inside.

Why are you squeaking.

Other than his ongoing investigation into the internal anatomy of stuffed animals, Jetski is a happy, social puppy who loves hanging out with other dogs. He's only 9 months old, so he's still got plenty of time to learn important adult skills like manners, responsibility, and pretending he did NOT just explode a stuffed octopus all over your living room.

Anyway. Jetski needs a home.

Preferably one with friends.

And a Costco-sized box of squeaky toys so he can continue his research. 🧸💥🐾

Yes, her ears are actually that big. No, we don't know why. She can probably hear your car pull into the parking lot before you leave your house.

And then there's the tongue. It is SO LONG. Like concerningly long. Where does she keep all of it??? 👅

Skipper is super social and loves other dogs. She's also weirdly tolerant of rude/obnoxious dogs 😂 You know the ones. No manners, immediately in her face, acting like they've never been outside before. Skipper does not care. She's basically like “oh cool new friend!!!”

She's playful, friendly, goofy, and generally just happy to be included in whatever is happening.

If you're looking for a sweet social dog with satellite dishes for ears and 14 feet of tongue, please come meet Skipper. We love her. We're also tired. 💜🐾

And yes, adoptions are still $40. The ears alone are worth at least $75. 👂

💕 FOSTER FRIDAY: Whitney needs a couch to crash on!

Normally, 4-year-old Whitney is busy living her best life—playing hard with her rowdy dog friends and soaking up ALL the attention she can get. But right now, this fun-loving girl needs to slow things down a bit.

Whitney is heartworm positive and needs a foster home where she can relax, recover, and enjoy some peace and quiet during treatment. The best part? CCAS covers the full cost of her heartworm treatment. You provide the comfy couch, calm environment, and plenty of love—we’ll handle the medical care!
