As we enjoy the sunshine 🌞, it is a good reminder to keep up with flea medication that also treats earmites (seen here) and intestinal parasites. That is why we recommend Revolution Plus. If your kitty is current on their annual exam, you can pick your treatment up anytime.

Keep your cats bug free year round.

Noticing bad breath? These could be signs of dental disease. 🦷🐱

Did you know that by age 2, most cats show signs of dental disease? Left untreated, dental problems can lead to pain, infection, and even affect major organs.

Signs to watch for:
• Bad breath
• Pawing at mouth
• Dropping food while eating
• Head shaking or pawing at the mouth

Cats need their claws 🐾

Declawing isn’t just nail removal—it’s an amputation that can lead to pain, litter box issues, and increased aggression, including biting.

We’re proud to be in a state, which recognizes this and has laws banning declawing for non-medical reasons.

Keep cats healthy. Keep their claws.

🔥 Fire Preparedness for Pets 🐾

Wildfire season is here—are your pets ready?

A little planning now can save lives later. Here’s how to keep your pets safe:

✔️ ID is everything
Collar, tags, and microchip with updated info

✔️ Pack a “Go Bag”
Food, water, meds, leash/carrier, comfort items, and a recent photo

✔️ Plan ahead
Know where you’ll go—pet-friendly hotels, shelters, or friends/family

✔️ Easy exits
Keep carriers and leashes near doors for quick evacuation

✔️ Don’t wait
Bring pets inside early and evacuate as soon as possible

✔️ Never leave them behind
If it’s not safe for you, it’s not safe for them

Preparation saves precious time—and lives. 🧡

May is National Asthma and Allergy Awareness Month, highlighting that pets, especially cats (affecting 1%–5%), can suffer from asthma.

Symptoms include chronic coughing, wheezing, and, in cats, crouching low with a neck-extended hacking motion often mistaken for hairballs. Immediate veterinary care is vital as untreated asthma can be fatal.
