The SPCA of Solano County is a small but passionate animal shelter located on Peabody Rd in Vacaville, CA. The animals available for adoption at our shelter are provided with the best care possible. The shelter guests come from a variety of different situations and we try

to make each and every one as comfortable as possible while waiting for their forever home. We are always looking for dedicated and passionate animal lovers to volunteer at the shelter. If you have extra time and would like to help the SPCA with our mission please contact as at: [email protected]

We are currently open for walk-in adoptions you are more than welcome to come walk through our kennels and look at our available animals during regular adoption hours!

Hello it's Tuesday evening and it's me Ocean the current on site spokes dog for the SPCA of Solano County. I am a sweet 3 year old Chihuahua that came here with a litter of puppies that have all been adopted. I prefer women !!! This week we are introducing more Sesame Street dogs!. Adopting one shelter dog/cat won't change the world but for that one dog or cat their world will be forever changed! We have Chihuahuas of all shapes colors and sizes. If you are interested in me or any of the other available pets we are open Thursday - Sunday from 12 to 5 pm. Adopt a dog, or cat save a life.....but remember they are a 15 year commitment both emotionally and financially. Chihuahua's can live an especially long life! Its me the adorable Ocean signing out fingers crossed.
