BARC office is open M-F 10-3 for spay/neuter voucher distribution and adoptions!
127 South Camp BARC also has pets available for adoption.

BARC provides low cost spay/neuter coupons to the community to help make altering pets more affordable. All pets have received a full health screen, vaccinations and have been spayed/neutered prior to adoption.

A1- female, 40 lbs, 1 yrs, very friendly!, super happy to come out of kennel, 4/10 on leash, isn’t scared of it but doesn’t really know how to walk with it, she’d laid down then dart and get pulled back, just needs to learn, dog tested well, wanted to play!, great potential, and very photogenic.

A2- female, 2-3 yrs, 47 lbs, DRAMA Queen!, she was whining well after she got her vaccine 💉, very friendly, happy to be out, 6/10 on leash, very slight pulling but easy to handle, dog tested well, sniffing and tail wags, beautiful but needs a good brush, very photogenic.

A6-male, 2-3yrs, 50 lbs, nicknamed him cookies and cream for now, very friendly, 3/10 on leash wasn’t scared but didn’t want to walk with it, had to carry him into receiving, dog tested great, very happy and also wanted to play, good boy!, very sweet smile.

A7- female, 4-5 yrs, 47 lbs, skinny girl!, very people friendly, loves affection, wanted to give kisses, 6/10 on leash, some pulling but easy to handle, dog test 50/50, she was iffy with a female, but okay with a male, otherwise sweet as can be.
Notes: skin infection, malnourished

A8- male, 1-2 yrs, 42 lbs, scruffy guy, very friendly, 7/10 on leash, pulling from excitement but very easy going, dog tested well, comes on a bit strong but once he’s up close he just sniffs and relaxes, he’s a cool guy. 😎

A9 pups-
White/black ears- female, 9lbs
Black- male, 9.5lbs,
White/black spots- female, 11lbs,
All super friendly babies, 10/10 cute floofs

A9 mom- female, 2yrs, 36 lbs, very timid/scared, had to carry her out, once she was out she didn’t really want to walk much, just sat down, 3/10 on leash, wasn’t scared of it, but again didn’t walk with it, dog tested okay, nervous and didn’t interact but never aggressive, very sweet momma, wanted affection, love her.

A10- female, 4.4 lbs, 6-7 wks, timid but very sweet little baby

Pen 18- female, 10-12 months, 34 lbs, very timid at first, once she gets to know you, she’s the absolute sweetest 😭, she LOVES affection, 4/10 on leash, more nervous about being out than the lead, but did walk on it for a bit, dog tested okay, very nervous but never aggressive, eventually had some tail wagging with pen 8, wanted to literally crawl into my lap, great potential!

Pen 12- female, 13 lbs, 1-2 yrs, skittish at first, was able to carry her in/out of her kennel, 4/10 on leash, scared, dog tested okay, very nervous but no aggression. Came in with pen 18. Small girl who needs a soft place to land.

Pen 4- male, 49 lbs, 7-9 months, very sweet and people friendly, a little timid, but warms up quickly, 6/10 on leash, definitely has some knowledge, dog tested okay, nervous but no aggression, wasn’t super interested in meeting Teddy, wanted our attention more than meeting another dog, has potential, good boy! Owner surrender, just a baby!

We’ll be taking a short break but don’t worry—our FREE vaccines will resume next week! 🐾✨

In the meantime, don’t forget about the **Rabies Drive in Sabinal, TX this Saturday from 10am–3pm! 🐶🐱 It’s a great opportunity to keep your pets protected.

Our teams work hand in hand with the ACO’s on a daily basis and our programs can accomplish great things when we work together.

Today our team presented the ACO’s with gift certificates to Oasis & Julio’s, as a small token of our gratitude.

Pen 2-male, ~9-10 months, 46lbs, very friendly boy!, super excited to be out, 3/10 on leash, lots of jumping around, dog tested well, playful. Extension from last week.

Pen 3 (12)- male, 5yrs, ≈73 lbs, very friendly!, well mannered, 7/10 on leash, some pulling but easy to redirect, sits, dog tested well, happy to meet Teddy, really good dog!
Note: appears neutered

Pen 4- female, 71 lbs, 2-3 yrs, chonkers!!, super sweet, happy to be let out, big smiley girl, pretty laid back, 7/10 on leash, just waddlin’ around, not much pulling, dog tested well.

Pen 7
Male, 34 lbs, 5 months,
Female, 30lbs, 5 months,
Both are a shy, but super sweet/friendly, enjoy affection, big babies ❤

Pen 8- female, 50 lbs, 2-3 yrs, a little timid at first but once she was outside super friendly, very social, happy girl, dog tested well, excited to meet Teddy. Momma to pen 7 pups.

Pen 13- female, 3-4 yrs, ≈50lbs, very scared, but secretly very sweet, was able to take her out, she walked well on leash, 6/10, still some hesitation but she did well, dog tested okay, nervous but no aggression, starting to open up more.

Pen 14- female, 13 lbs, 14 weeks, super social pup!, wants attention!!, very playful, happy personality, 10/10.

Pen 19- female, 14 lbs, 14-16 weeks, a little shy, but very affectionate, sweet and friendly.
