Stoner Ranch Performance Horses Horse Training/Horsemanship We are a private working ranch founded in 1884 by our great grandmother, Anna Louise Stoner.

This land has been the home to four generations of Stoners who have been raising and training quarter horses for over half a century in this historic region. Gil Stoner and his wife, Amy, are continuing the family tradition. Gil is a 1983 graduate of Texas A&M University with a Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Economics. As a professional horseman for more than thirty years, he has specialized

in all around ranch horses, as well as: team roping, barrel, pole, and cow horses. Gil takes in outside horses for training.

Berry Catty AQHA # 5370548, 2010 red roan gelding, 14.3, a stout easy keeper. He was broke as a cutter, was third Open All Around American Stock Horse Association 2015, Reserve Champion Oklahoma Stock Horse Association 2016, and AQHA World Show qualifier Amateur Ranch Sorting 2017, 2018. Current owner in her mid 70’s rides him on the ranch, trail, or in the arena.

Berry Catty is a sweet laid-back guy, surefooted in rugged terrain and at home on the ranch, in the arena, or trail riding. He is cow horse bred and will work cattle. $15,000 firm.
