Wengerd Sport Horses Rachel has been riding horses since she could walk. Malt and Rachel also began a career in eventing together when Rachel was twelve years old.

She grew up at Knightwynds Welsh Cobs where she got to enjoy riding everyday as well as playing with the foals and learning how to handle everything from newborn foals to the breeding stallion. Rachel has achieved her C-2 and H-B pony club ratings with the help of her two welsh cobs, Crossroads Rose and Knightwynds Single Malt. The pair quickly fell in love with eventing and over the years have ma

de it to the training level with very limited training and funds. She is currently training with Lainey Asker, Francesca Nicoletti, and Noel Williams. Who have all helped Rachel tremendously these past few years. Rachel hopes to do her first one star in 2013. She also enjoys working with younger pony club members and anyone who wants to begin riding or move up the lower levels. She hopes to begin obtaining her ICP in the USEA. Rachel also enjoys breaking young or inexperienced horses to ride. As well as riding Rachel has grown to enjoy combined driving, and works as a navigator and groom. Her family has taught her a lot about driving horses and she has spent some time breaking a few driving horses and puts mileage on green driving horses.

First show in the books for Allie and Germania W owned by hhsportponies

I am so proud of how well Allie did riding a young pony through her first show. They have been working so hard at home and while Germania had some green baby moments today in the extreme heat Allie rode through them and completed both of her tests. They might be a young team but they work very well together!

Next up pony club camp for some dressage lessons and then off to the National Dressage Pony Cup!

Super exciting young Prospect with upper level talent! Oxygen is a very talented young jumper who has competed to 1.20 m. he is the son of Impressive VDL who is a 1.45 m jumper by the 1.50 m stallion Douglas. his dam Jillbritta MG is by the 1.50 m jumper stallion Crespo vdl. he has three impressive gaits and tons of scope. athletic gelding with tons of top talent ready to be someones competitve partner to develop up the levels!

To end a very long week with very little sleep I am proud of Allie for completing her first Pony Club Rally. Her and Malt moved up to the 18” courses after earning their D2 rating a few weeks ago! She completed 3 courses with one refusal in the first course. It never gets old watching the pony I grew up with in pony club teaching my daughter the ropes and building her confidence! Not to bad for a 28 year old Welsh Cob!
