Here’s your latest Omega Alpha Healthy Horse Award Winner!

Just Yolo, shown by Olympian Lisa Wilcox, took home the Omega Alpha Healthy Horse Award at the Gold Coast Made in the Shade Dressage, held August 15–16 at the Jim Brandon Equestrian Center in West Palm Beach, Florida.

The pair earned a winning 68.552% in Fourth Level Test 1. Lisa was scheduled to coach Yolo’s owner, Bella Watson who had intended to show Yolo in the class, but got sidelined when a jumper she was competing on Thursday had other plans and left Bella with a dislocated shoulder, so trainer, Lisa Wilcox took over the ride. “I hadn’t been on him myself in a bit”, Lisa shared, but the result was a happy ride, a nice winning score and the Omega Alpha Healthy Horse Award!

One of the greatest advantages of working in media is flexibility. I’m building a life where I can travel and still manage PR, media, and content for equestrian clients around the world.

For me, this is not just a lifestyle choice. It reflects where the industry is going. Equestrian brands, athletes, and platforms are thinking globally, and their visibility needs to move just as freely.
