It has been a while for farm posts! Did you know we have cows as neighbours? Well we do! And more often than I would have ever anticipated the horses like to go back and have a chat, much like one of our boarders Chandra, (how could I not?)

We were very lucky with the amount of damage we manage to get away with. Two of the skylight are gone on the barn, and we had five downed trees, four on fencing. However! We got all the fencing repaired, the roof will be replaced next week, and now we have cross country jumps! To everyone who sustained more damage; we’re thinking of you and hope something good can come of this, no matter how small.

Waiting for the Kubota to warm up so I could throw morning hay; and the sun broke the horizon so brilliantly it startled me from my attentions to my phone. The every day is always exceptional.
