Winter is coming, but we’re dreaming of spring!

We have decided to extend our stallion service promotion until December 31. Both stallions stud fees have been deeply discounted to help support the recovery effort for a group of neglected mares in rescue.

So whether you choose BDMR Battersea Eclipse as your next sporthorse sire, or Kismet Locomotion as the father of your cutting prospect extraordinaire, you pay just $500! (Mare care or collection / shipping fees not included)

To further sweeten the already fantastic deal, anyone that pays their contract in full at the time of submission is also eligible to purchase a breed-back contract for the SAME PRICE! That’s 2 foals for less than the cost of our normal stud fees.

Etiquette When Purchasing a Horse:

1. Be realistic with your abilities, goals, and budget before initiating contact.

2. Do not inquire about an animal unless you have a serious interest in purchasing them.

3. Be patient when expecting a response; not everyone is of retirement age. Some of us still work jobs other than just the farm.

4. If you’re going to make an offer lower than the asking price, be reasonable and kind.

5. Unless otherwise stated pre-purchase exams, extra vetting, and transportation costs are all at the buyer’s expense; account for those in your budget.

6. Be courteous in communication, negotiation, and requests.

Clear communication is extremely important when unexpected situations arise; a simple notification of a change in circumstances is a decent gesture for ending negotiations or purchase contracts.

It was getting dark so I didn’t have the best lighting to work with, but I managed to get some current photos of Little Bit for all the naysayers. I literally just pulled her out of the pasture and snapped these real quick so yes, you do see mud on her and cockleburrs in her mane.

This mare is STOUT and has more body than some of my more mature mares. I honestly don’t understand why she’s still available. This foal is going to be a powerhouse and PRETTY with Loki as its sire.

Through no fault of her own, Little Bit finds herself available again.

Ozark Atomic Energy, aka Little Bit, is a 2022 chestnut filly. She’s currently 14.3H and does all the normal horse things; halters, leads, toes, stands for farrier, bathes, will wear a blanket, lunges, trailers, has worn tack.

At the request of the previous buyer she was bred and confirmed in foal to Kismet Locomotion for a June 2026 baby.

Asking what she was originally offered at, 45🥕🥕, now was a 2-in-1 package.

It was a beautiful day today. Partly cloudy, nice breeze, and warm but not swelteringly hot like it has been so often lately.

It gave me more time to spend with the boys today. Working with Loki, I was reminded so much of his mother. He has her same calm, work focused drive, loves learning new things, and takes everything in stride.

I wish I was younger and more nimble than I currently am; I was so tempted today to just hop on him. A dear friend fueled the insanity but fear of possibly breaking things should I come off brought me back to reality. Luckily we’re in the horse capital of the world, so there’s no shortage of people willing to give him a good first ride. If the nice weather holds for a few more weeks, he’ll hopefully get that ride!

We’re taking early contracts for 2026 breedings at a deep discount. This will be a $500 stud fee, live foal guarantee, live cover or fresh cooled once trained to collect in the spring. Collection and mare care fees will be mare owner’s responsibility.
