A lot of the time puppy parents ask…
What is included in my puppies first grooming?
We want to make your puppies first grooming the most positive experience as we can. So many new noises (blow dryer, nail dremel, clippers and even scissors) that’s a lot to take in for a young pup!
We take it slow and lots of positive rewards! Their first grooming experience is the most important one!
We first start by bathing them in a shampoo & conditioner perfect for their coat type. Then we get them on the grooming table, and give them a minute to decompress with lots of treats. After that, blow dryer time! Once they are dry we give more treats, nail trim, paw trim, ear/face trim, quick sani trim & bandana and you guessed MORE TREATS! Then they are happy and clean for you!
We also get the question… how often should my puppy come in?
We recommend about every 3-4 weeks until they are used to everything grooming then we can schedule out anywhere from 2-8 weeks depending on your personal preference 🤭🩷
