Hi, my name is Alexis, and I am a Veterinary Assistant who is working on getting my Veterinary Technician certification. I first learned of Alpha Veterinary Services in 2017 when I started shadowing to see if vet med was the right thing for me. I officially started working at AVS in 2021. The last few years I’ve been working with Dr. Amy to better our care with exotic animals. I hope to one day specialize in these wonderful animals.

In my free time, I love to go on nature walks with my husband, reading, and learning more about animals/nature. At home, I have two cats, a leopard gecko, four birds, two tarantulas, and a scorpion.

I love all animals dearly and can't wait to meet your exotic pet (or your cat and dog) ❤️

I've always known that I belonged in a career helping animals and have been a proud member of the veterinary community since 2015. Cats and exotics are my absolute favorite patients.

In my spare time I enjoy hiking, kayaking and going to car shows. I also really enjoy movies. My home is shared with my husband of 12 years and our pets which include cats, dogs, reptiles and arachnids.

I’ve been at Alpha for about 3 and 1/2 years.

My plan is to become a certified technician and then a veterinary PA.

On my downtime I like skateboarding, photography and spending time with my animals (cats, dog, sheep, chickens and ducks).

My favorite thing about my job are the patients. Animals have always been my passion. 🐾
