Meet Remi 🐾

Remi is a 2 year old spayed English Bulldog with the sweetest soul and the cutest little face to match. She absolutely loves her people and thrives on attention, cuddles, and just being by your side. Whether it’s lounging on the couch or following you around the house, Remi is happiest when she’s close to her humans.

Remi does best as the only pet in the home. While she can be perfectly fine around other dogs out and about, she prefers her home to be her own space and can become a bit territorial. Because of this, she’s looking for a home without other dogs or cats where she can truly relax and be the center of attention she deserves.

She is such a loving, loyal girl who will make an amazing companion for the right home 💕

One of our customers came upon this injured fox yesterday and stopped to help. Sounds like he is recovering now he’s had some help from the friends at Horse & Hound!

New rehab friend who arrived yesterday! He is an older male grey fox found injured on a road in Union. He has head trauma and an injured right eye. He is in stable condition with limited use of his left fore and hind limbs. He is eating and we will continue to support him as long as he continues to improve physically. More updates to come. One beautiful creature. 🥰 Note to readers: the doctor and staff have been vaccinated against the Rabies virus.

Ok, friends. A reminder that the PMHS Low Cost Rabies Vaccination Clinic is this Saturday!

Rabies vaccines will be $15 each (cash only) with no income or residency restrictions. All are welcome. The clinic runs from 11 am to 1 pm in the shelter's community room, and we HIGHLY RECOMMEND pre-registering your pet(s). Please see the Facebook event tagged above for more information about the clinic.

A shoutout to Dr. Mimi Moore for volunteering her time to administer the vaccines!
