🐾 Meet Myles: A One-of-a-Kind Doodle Looking for His Perfect Match 🐾

Myles is a 2.5-year-old, 55-pound Doodle mix with a warm heart, a sweet soul, and a love for life’s simple joys—like playing in the yard, cuddling on the couch, and being surrounded by people and pups he loves. He’s friendly, affectionate, and full of charm, with a soft coat and even softer eyes that will melt your heart.

Myles is great with other dogs and does wonderfully with kids, making him an ideal fit for a family home. He’d love a fenced yard to explore, a dog buddy to share his adventures with, and humans (big or small) who will treat him like a true member of the family. He’s been through a lot, but his joyful spirit and gentle nature shine through.

We’re looking for the perfect match for Myles—a home that offers love, patience, and a whole lot of belly rubs. If you think that could be you, reach out and learn more about this amazing pup. 🐶💛

As we turn the final page on 2024, we’re thrilled to share our last adoption story of the year. Duncan, now Milton, has found his forever home with a wonderful couple in Asheville, NC. From the very first moment they met, it was clear—this was love. They’ve embraced his puppy energy, his bright spirit, and his endless potential. Milton isn’t just in a home; he’s where he belongs.

But Milton’s story is just one of many beautiful chapters written this year. Each pup who found safety, love, and family represents a victory made possible by a village.

To our fosters who offered shelter, our adopters who gave forever love, our photographers who captured hope in every portrait, our transporters who ensured safe journeys, our vet partners who offered healing, and our volunteers who gave their time, energy, and hearts—you are the reason stories like Milton’s exist.

Rescue is not just about saving dogs; it’s about restoring hope and building bridges between broken pasts and bright futures.

As we step into 2025, we carry with us gratitude for every life saved and hope for the countless lives still waiting.

May the new year bring you joy, love, and moments that remind you of life’s beauty. And if your heart feels called, we welcome you to join us: Foster. Adopt. Volunteer. Donate. Together, we can write even more happy endings.

Here’s to a fresh start, wagging tails, and love without limits. HAPPY NEW YEAR! 🐕❤️

Pictured here with her wonderful foster mom, Cindy Fetterly, and her loving adoptive mom, Cindy Brady is home for the holidays! ❤️🏡

We want to thank both of these incredible women from the bottom of our hearts. Fosters and adopters are the heart and soul of rescue, and we simply couldn’t do this without you.

A huge shoutout to our amazing transporter, LT, the talented Emily Covington of Wags to Riches Photography, our dedicated team of medical partners, and all of our incredible volunteers.

Because of all of you, Cindy Brady gets to spend Christmas surrounded by love, warmth, and family.

Sometimes a dog comes into your life at just the right time, slipping into the cracks without you even realizing it. They don’t announce themselves as saviors or miracles—they’re simply there, slowly weaving their way into your routine, your thoughts, your feelings, and your heart. You don’t see it then, but they’re quietly pulling you out of places you thought you’d never escape.

It’s only years later, when you’re looking back, that the clarity hits you. You remember the nights when the world felt too heavy, and they sat beside you—steady and unshaken—keeping you tethered. You see how they filled your days with the kind of simple, unfiltered joy you had long forgotten existed. They didn’t fix everything, but they gave you a reason to keep going—and sometimes, that’s enough. Sometimes, that’s all you need.

And maybe that’s the beauty of it. They don’t try to save you; they just do. In their own gentle way, they become the thing you didn’t know you needed. And long after they’re gone, you realize it wasn’t just luck that they came when they did—it was love, pure and profound, walking into your life when you needed it most. Walking into your life and changing it, as if it was meant to mend and heal everything.
