🚨🐾 Looking for a Home Together – Smokey & The Bandit 🐾🚨

These two gorgeous Siamese brothers are in search of a loving new home 💙💙. Smokey and Bandit are 7 years old, healthy, and bonded, so they’ll need to stay together. Their owners sadly need to rehome them due to their own health issues, and our rescue is helping to make sure these boys find the perfect family.

We would love to keep them local here in Alabama, so they don’t have to go far from the only home they’ve ever known.

🐾❤️ We need a little help to give our pups some extra comfort! ❤️🐾

We found a great idea from another rescue and would love to make it happen here too. Home Depot has a shed we’d like to attach to one of our 10x10 kennels, which will give the pups more space and—most importantly—a place to stay safe and dry when the weather isn’t kind. 🌧️☀️❄️
We’re also needing 2 rolls of this flooring. It makes clean up much easier.

This project will make such a difference for the dogs who need our help, but we can’t do it without YOU—our amazing supporters. 🙏 Every donation, no matter the size, helps us get closer to giving these sweet pups a better setup.

🚨 SAMMY NEEDS A HOME!

Everyone, please meet Sammy – a stunning Turkish Angora mix boy who is looking for his forever family here in Alabama. 💙

Sammy is about a year old, neutered, healthy, and fully up-to-date on vaccines. He’s a big, handsome 12-pound boy who is full of personality. He loves to “talk” to you, gets along great with dogs, and truly seems to love everyone he meets.

This sweet boy deserves a home of his own where he’ll be cherished. We would love to see him adopted locally in Alabama so he doesn’t have to travel far.

🐾 Looking for the PURRfect Porch or Indoor/Outdoor Home! 🐾

We have two beautiful 5-month-old kittens who are ready to find their forever family! 💕 These boys are neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines — healthy, happy, and all set for their next adventure.

They are sweet, but they prefer the outdoors and would love a safe place to call their own. Ideally, we’re looking for a family who will give them a chance to be indoor/outdoor cats or porch cats. All they need is a few weeks indoors (or on a screened-in porch) to settle in and learn where “home” is. After that, they’ll happily spend their days soaking up sunshine, bird-watching, and enjoying the great outdoors. 🌞🐦

If you have a safe porch or property and a kind heart to give these kittens the life they love, please reach out to us! They just need someone willing to give them a chance. 💌

There will be a small adoption fee to

We are heartbroken to share that Alisa, who was loved by so many in the animal community, recently passed away after a motorcycle accident. Alisa once helped our rescue with a dog in need, and her kindness and dedication to animals will never be forgotten.

🚨 FOSTERS NEEDED! 🚨

We have four beautiful Siamese kittens who desperately need foster homes so they can get the socialization they need to thrive. 💙 These babies were born in a backyard and have been cared for, but now it’s time for them to learn what it’s like to be loved in a home.

Fostering is so important and with just a little love and patience, they’ll blossom into amazing companions.

✨ What we need:
• Foster homes willing to help socialize these sweet kittens.
• Ideally, they should go in pairs (unless you already have another young, friendly cat for them to bond with).
• Fostering could be as short as a month or less—just enough time to get them adoption-ready!
• If you fall in love, they can be foster-to-adopt! 🏡

Paws of Dixie Animal Rescue provides everything you need—food, supplies, vetting, support. All you provide is love, patience, and a safe space. 💕

💙 Foster Needed for Sweet Patrick 💙while under doctor’s care.

Patrick is a darling kitten currently under the care of an ophthalmologist for an eye condition. He had his appointment today and will go back in one month for a follow-up. After that, he’ll be ready for adoption—but in the meantime, he really needs a foster home.

We do have other kittens he could be fostered with, and our rescue provides everything you need—supplies, vet care, and support.

Fostering saves lives, and we truly couldn’t do this without our fosters. Please consider opening your heart and home to Patrick, even just for a month. He will thank you with love and purrs, and you’ll be giving him the best gift—comfort and care while he heals. 💕
