Meet Zeus! The most handsome 3 year old, male English Bulldog! ๐Ÿถ
Recently, his owners noticed that he was straining to urinate. On examination at his regular vet, bladder stones were found within his urinary bladder and appeared to be stuck in his urethra!
He was referred to us for stone removal from his urethra (urethrotomy) and stone removal from his urinary bladder (cystotomy). He did very well on recovery and was so happy to urinate normally again!

After the stones were retrieved, they were sent to be analyzed at a special facility, the Minnesota Urolith Center, who reported the type of bladder stone found in Zeus. Based on the type of stone found, we were able to switch Zeus to a special diet to reduce certain minerals contributing to stone formation. And, hopefully Zeus can lead a normal life, moving forward in the absence of bladder stones! ๐Ÿ’—

Meet sweet Archie! ๐Ÿถ
Archie is a 10-year-old mixed pup, who was recently brought to us for a splenectomy and liver lobectomy surgery.

๏ฟผHis owners had recently noticed an acute onset of abdominal pain, trembling, and reluctance to jump. A CT scan revealed a liver lobe mass and splenic nodules that were thought to be causing his painful abdomen.๏ฟผ

Once in surgery, Dr. George was able to remove both the affected liver๏ฟผ lobe, as well as the spleen. After surgery, Archie already appeared much brighter and more comfortable!

His owner reports that he has been doing very well at home since his surgery!

We are so thankful for Archie and his sweet family! โœจ๏ฟผ
