It’s unfortunately that time again where we have to ask our community for help. Our food pantry for our facility dogs is empty once again, and we are really feeling the strain right now. 🥹

Over the last month, we’ve had several unexpected emergency vet visits and medical intakes, and while we would never turn a dog away when they need help, those costs have made it hard to get our vet bills caught up and keep everything else stocked the way it needs to be.

If we can raise at least $1,000, it would allow us to fully restock our food pantry and get us through the next month and a half for our facility dogs. That would take a huge amount of pressure off and let us focus on care, healing, and getting dogs ready for their next chapter.

Every donation truly matters, whether it’s $5, $20, or sharing this post so it reaches the right person. Our dogs depend on us, and we depend on this community more than we can ever say.

Thank you for always showing up for them. 🐾🤍🫶

🚨 URGENT Foster Homes Needed for Bruce & Clarissa 🚨

Bruce and Clarissa are young sibling we pulled from Tulsa Animal Services just in time to prevent them from being euthanized. Their lives were spared, but right now they urgently need a safe, calm place to land.

They are both very sweet dogs, just extremely scared. Shelter life was hard on them, and they will need patience, kindness, and time to learn that they are safe. We are really hoping for a foster with some experience with shy or skittish dogs and the time to help them decompress and build confidence.

Both are sneezing and may have kennel cough from the shelter, which is very common. We will cover all medical care and provide all supplies they need, we just need a loving home to open its doors.

We would strongly prefer that Bruce and Clarissa stay together at least until they feel comfortable and confident. Once they are more settled, we can work on separating them if needed.

Fostering doesn’t have to be forever, but it can change everything. A quiet home could be the turning point that helps these two finally relax, trust, and start their new chapter.

If you can foster, please apply on our website now. 🐾🤍

Still working on 2025 adoptions, oops☺️Resolution for 2026 will be to post them as we go🤞🏻

Anyway, these 5 lucky babies were adopted by 2 OPCS families. So they definitely hit the jackpot!

Bonnie, Clyde and Niles are all adopted by our amazing Linda💖 so they are living the good life,
Digging their mom a new “pool” in her back yard 🤣

Bourke and Pepsi were adopted by our amazing Chet & Lavonna and are living their best life out there with all the other fur goblins. 🥰

Thank you to all of you for everything you do for OPCS and our babies but also for being amazing adopters.
We couldn’t do this without you.

Update on sweet Sally!

She has been fully evaluated, and while her bloodwork came back perfect (which honestly surprised us all), she does have a lot going on for a girl estimated to be 12–14 years old.

Sally has a grade 4–5 heart murmur with an enlarged heart, severely rotten teeth, an intestinal infection, partial blindness from nuclear sclerosis, partial hearing loss, mammary tumors, and a tumor near her rear.

She’s been started on antibiotics and heart medications, and we’ll recheck her in about three weeks. At that point, she’ll also have an echocardiogram to determine whether it’s safe for her to undergo surgery.

Sally has a long road ahead of her, and there are a lot of unknowns. But what we do know is that she is finally safe, comfortable, and cared for, likely for the first time in a long time. Our hope is to give her as much quality time, comfort, and dignity as possible.

When her owner passed away, she was taken to the shelter confused, scared, and not understanding why her world suddenly changed. Despite everything she’s been through, Sally is the sweetest little soul, she just wants to be held, gives the softest kisses, and soaks up every bit of love she can get. 💕

Thank you to everyone who has already shown her love and support. Please keep Sally in your thoughts as we take this journey one step at a time.

28 precious lives rolled out tonight on the OPCS bus, headed north toward their next chapter. 🚌🐾

Transports are always bittersweet. They’re emotional, especially for our foster families who say goodbye to dogs they’ve loved, cared for, and bonded with. They let them go knowing that their goodbye makes room for the next dog in line who desperately needs help. That kind of selflessness is the heartbeat of rescue.

Our fosters are a critical steppingstone in saving lives, and our transport drivers are just as essential, safely carrying our dogs hundreds of miles to new beginnings, second chances, and happy endings up north.

We are so incredibly grateful for every single person who makes these transports possible, our fosters, volunteers, donors, drivers, and our amazing rescue partners at Northern Lakes Rescue and Paws and Claws Rescue & Resort.
It truly takes a village, and we are so thankful for ours.

Transports like this are life-saving, but they’re also costly. If you’re able to donate to help us cover transport expenses, it makes it possible for us to keep saying yes to dogs who need us most. Every contribution helps keep the wheels turning and the lives moving forward. ❤️

Thank you for being part of this journey with us!

We want to take a moment to address something important regarding Noah.

First, thank you. The outpouring of love, heartbreak, anger, and support for this sweet boy has been overwhelming, and it speaks volumes about how deeply people care about animals like Noah who cannot speak for themselves.

That said, we’ve seen some comments calling for violence, vigilante justice, or asking for personal information and addresses related to the person responsible for Noah’s abuse. While we completely understand the rage and pain behind those feelings, we want to be very clear:

We do not condone violence, threats, or doxxing of any kind.

What Noah needs, and what truly honors him, is justice through the proper legal channels, not more harm or chaos. Violence only takes the focus off Noah and can jeopardize the case against the person who hurt him.

If you are angry, heartbroken, or sickened by what happened to Noah, we ask you to use that passion in a positive and powerful way:
• Share Noah’s story
• Advocate for animal cruelty charges to be taken seriously
• Speak up for stronger protections for animals
• Demand accountability through the justice system

That is how real change happens.

Thank you for standing with Noah.
Thank you for caring loudly.
And thank you for helping us fight for justice the right way, so Noah’s suffering is not ignored and no other animal has to endure the same fate.

We are so grateful for this community and for the love you continue to surround Noah with. 💙🐾

New Year’s Day in rescue looks a little different.

As we step into 2026, we’re looking back at nearly 300 lives saved in 2025, 300 dogs who were abandoned, neglected, broken, scared, or forgotten… and who mattered anyway.

These faces represent thousands of hours.
Late nights. Hard choices. Emergency vet visits.
Fosters stepping up. Volunteers showing up.
A community refusing to look away.

Some of these dogs are now loved family members.
Some are still on their journey.
All of them were worth the fight.

Rescue doesn’t reset when the clock strikes midnight, but our commitment does.

Thank you for believing in second chances.
Thank you for standing with us.
Thank you for helping make every one of these lives possible.

Here’s to another year of saving lives, together. 🐾❤️

Happy New Year from the
OPCS family!
