Our sweet facility pups deserve the best, especially during these hot summer months. Right now, their cots are getting pretty worn out and we want to make sure they always have a comfortable place to rest and stay cool.

Meet Charlotte: a perfect mashup of Boston Terrier charm and pittie snuggles, clocking in at 45 pounds of pure love (and a little sass).

She’s about three years old, just finished her heartworm treatment, and is currently lounging like a queen on crate rest, think of it as her “wellness retreat.”

Charlotte is dog-friendly, house-trained, and prides herself on keeping her kennel spotless (truly, she could teach a class). Her favorite hobbies? Being your personal shadow, perfecting her snuggle game, and reminding you that couch time is her time.

We had special Visitors at Oklahoma Pet Collective Society today!

We were thrilled to welcome a group of enthusiastic kids from Simple Church Tulsa Bible school class to our rescue facility!
Their energy and compassion for animals in need were truly inspiring.

During their visit, the kids got hands-on experience helping with our puppy bathing station, who knew bath time could be so much fun?
They also lent a hand with bagging dog food for our food pantry, helping us support even more furry friends in need.

Our Vice President, Shelly, took the opportunity to share valuable lessons with the kids about the importance of caring for pets, pet safety, and helping those less fortunate. We're grateful for the chance to instill empathy and kindness in the next generation!

But that's not all, the children also generously gathered donations for our dogs, bringing joy and essential supplies to our rescue facility.

A huge thank you to the Bible school class for spending the day with us! We're so grateful for the support and enthusiasm. Everyone had an amazing time, and we can't wait to welcome more young volunteers in the future!

🚨 URGENT PLEA 🚨

We are BUSTING AT THE SEAMS and need your help!

Right now, our facility is completely at capacity. We have wonderful dogs who are safe and cared for, but what they really need is the comfort of a home, a soft bed, a quiet space, and the one-on-one attention that only a foster family can give.

Fostering gives these dogs the best chance to thrive while we search for their perfect forever homes. And it won’t cost you a thing, we provide all the supplies, food, and vet care.

Even a short-term foster makes a huge difference. If you’ve been thinking about fostering, now is the perfect time to open your home and heart to a pup who’s ready for their next chapter.

The sad truth is: we can’t keep saving strays or dogs at risk of euthanasia at local shelters if we don’t have space.
Every adoption and foster home makes room for us to say yes to the next dog in need.

Every week, we get hundreds of pleas to help animals in need, dogs abandoned, strays struggling, lives on the line. And every week, we have to say no to so many of them, simply because we’re out of space and low on funds.

Little Sam made it through the night and was able to be taken off of oxygen for a few hours at a time. He ended up having a sudden case of pneumonia and a high fever. He is eating on his own as of today 🙌

He is still at Catoosa Small Animal Hospital and we are not sure when he’ll be well enough to come home 🥺

Little baby Sam and his 3 siblings were set to be euthanized last week due to overcrowding in the shelter. We pulled them right in time and they’ve been in their foster home. They developed a cough on Tuesday and we got them to the vet and they’ve been on antibiotics since then.

The other 3 have started to get better but today Sam had no appetite, no energy, and was shivering (from having a high fever.)

We got him to the vet and they are admitting him to monitor his symptoms and get him hooked up to an IV. His lungs sound clear and his parvo test was negative.

This was a completely unexpected vet bill, and as you know we have had a lot of those lately 😭😭

If you can spare any amount of money we could really use it! No amount is too small 🙏🥺🥺
