It was an awesome day full of curiosity, learning, and hands-on reptile fun with our friend Eric. The kids were completely hooked, these are the kinds of experiences they remember forever. I made a miniature terrarium inside a glass coffin because even plants deserve a dramatic resting place.

🐸Exciting News from The Wise Frog Reptile Rescue!
We’re now equipped with a pet microchip scanner! While we specialize in reptiles, we’re happy to offer microchip scanning for lost dogs and cats as a community service.
Found a furry friend wandering around? Bring them by and we’ll check for a chip to help get them back home where they belong.
Because even though we’re all about the scales, we’ve got love for the furballs too!

🌿✨ Adoptable Spotlight: Meet Pebble, the Baby Crested Gecko Born at the Rescue! ✨🌿

This is Pebble—a tiny crested gecko with big eyes and an even bigger future! Pebble wasn’t just rescued—they were born right here at Wisefrog, after their mother came to us as a surrender and surprised us with fertile eggs. We gave her a safe space to rest and recover, and out came this little miracle gecko, full of curiosity and quiet charm.

🦎 Species: Crested Gecko (Correlophus ciliatus)
🧬 Age: Hatchling/juvenile (a few months old)
💚 Gender: Not yet sexable
🌱 Personality: Active at night, gentle, and just starting to explore the world (and your fingers!)
🏡 Ideal Home: A patient, informed adopter with a proper tropical setup and a love for nocturnal cuties

Pebble is healthy, thriving, and growing stronger every day. Like all our reptiles, Pebble will go home with care guidance and lifetime support from the Wisefrog family.
