We’d like to express our gratitude to all of you who keep the rescue going. With such high expenses every month, we are always focused on making sure we never jeopardize the rescue and the bunnies by repeatedly putting ourselves in situations of financial stress. That’s why we are letting you know that this month is one of the stressful months for us. Donations are lower in the summer, as are adoptions. We see this trend yearly, but we wanted to reach out for help from all of you.

To keep ourselves on a positive path forwards, our goal for this month is to raise 2,000 dollars to put towards funds lost to expenses this month.

As per usual vet bills and facilities cost us the most. Anything you can donate is extremely appreciated, even a dollar or two monthly.

Meringue updated!

Not out of the woods yet, but certainly looking much better.

Meringue is a bunny with dysmotility and or megacolon. This visit has complicated her diagnosis a bit🙈❤️

When bunnies have slow enough gut motility, their p**p can impact inside of them, causing pain, dilation of the GI tract full of f***l material, and can even be life threatening. There is nothing worse than f***l impaction when it comes to megacolon buns, it is your worst nightmare.

She got an IV and fluids and a lot of pain medications and motility drugs yesterday, as well as over 15 separate X-rays taken throughout the day 🥲

Treefrog and Meringue are best friends, and they’ve both faces health issues in recent months.
