As we round out the end of July (typically the hottest month of the year here in Truckee!), we want to remind you about the importance of hydration for your pup. Keeping your furry friend hydrated is important at all times of the year — especially during the summer months ☀️🐾

Since July is also national , we’d love to share 5 quick tips you can take with your dog today:

1. Always have fresh, clean water available.
2. If it’s an especially hot day, add some ice cubes to the water bowl for a cool treat!
3. Take water on walks.
4. Give your pup some extra water after grooming. All that excitement can bring along a lot of thirst!
5. Watch for signs of dehydration, including dry gums, lethargy, or heavy panting.

Are you a passionate and experienced dog groomer looking for a fun, flexible, and supportive workplace? If quality over quantity is your motto and pups are your passion, Mountain Peak Grooming wants to hear from you!

We’re seeking a skilled groomer to join our positive, go-with-the-flow team on a booth rental basis. You’ll have the freedom to create your own schedule—work a few days a week during our open hours of 8 AM - 5 PM, Monday through Sunday—and take time off whenever you need it.

✨ No daily quotas. No rushed grooms. Just thoughtful, personalized care for every pup that walks through our doors. At Mountain Peak Grooming, we take a holistic, individualized approach to grooming—tailored to each dog’s unique needs.

📅 Flexible Schedule: Work part-time or full-time—your call.
💲 Booth Rent: 50% of your total daily earnings (tips are 100% yours!).
🧴 Supplies: We provide all soaps and shampoos.
💵 Earning Potential: Seasonal groomers typically take home $300-$600 per day, depending on speed and client base.
