COLORADO foster homes NEEDED WITHIN 2 days‼️

Axel, Elton, Elvis and Zeppelin are brothers, just turning 7 months old and are smaller in size, between 25 and 30 pounds and we don’t expect them to fet much bigger
Border Collie mixes?

Mick, Ozzy, Floyd and Joan are siblings, just turned 5 months old and are pretty good sized, approx 40 pounds
We believe they’re Ridgeback with some Hound mixed in?
Floyd has an eye defect (from birth) and has an appt to see the vet end of July
Prefer Trinidad, Walsenburg, Raton area for Floyd

Currently located in Colorado Springs area and they NEED TO MOVE NOW 😭

❤️❤️ADOPTED and in his furever home ❤️❤️

This is Cowboy, an absolutely gorgeous and SUPER sweet American Bulldog 😍
He is the “bestest” boy and we just can’t say enough good about this guy!

Cowboy has been with his fantastic foster mom - and even better she’s a master dog trainer ❤️ - and he’s had the best care
But it’s time he has a furever and a day family that is all his own - with a 4-pawed brother or sister plz, he would love that ❤️

Cowboy is about 70 pounds, utd on vax, neutered and microchipped

Currently located in S CA, Cowboy will be making his way to Colorado shortly!
He will need a foster or foster to adopt soon so he has a place to land when he gets here!

This is WILLOW 😍😍

And yep, she is that cute 🤣❤️

This little girl is just 12 weeks old and is as sweet as she is cute
We believe she’s a GSD mix 🙄 but as she was dumped at a shelter in the Fresno CA area, we really don’t know

Willow has been with her beyond fantastic foster mom but it’s now time for her to leave and head to Colorado!
She’ll be here in just another week or so and we need to find that foster or foster to adopt for her!!

Willow has had her puppy shots but is not altered yet, she’s a little young.
A foster to adopt home is a home that is assumed to be a furever home and an agreement is required

😍 GOMEZ 😍

This is Gomez ❤️❤️ and he needs a Colorado foster!

Gomez was the last of the urgent dogs at Stanislaus ACS in CA and nobody was coming 💔
It was a last minute pull and luckily it came together
He was in boarding for a few weeks but finally moved to a foster where he’s been doing GREAT!

We think he’s a Doberman maybe Lab? mix that’s just a year old
About 55 pounds he’s very high energy and while not technically a jumper, he is a bouncy dog lol and needs an active family to call his own
He’s done well with other dogs his size tho he can be a little rude so needs some supervision until he learns his manners lol

Gomez is utd on his vac, microchipped but still needs neuter and we will set an appt the second he arrives in Colorado
He has a wonky leg from an old injury but it doesn’t slow him down at all lol

We are looking for a foster, preferably a foster to adopt but he definitely needs a place to land when he gets here in the next couple of weeks!!

And a huge thank you to the person that counseled me on why I shouldn’t respond so passionately about her trivializing Michael Vick’s horrific acts with “he’s done his time” 🖕

It reminded me I needed to update this and have been a bit busy finding fosters so I slipped up
This was a vent post about the POS adopter that dumped a young dog that I’d given him
That’s been taken care of and she’s safe

Rescue is HARD
PLEASE be a little kinder to those on the trenches
We’re TIRED!!! And lecturing me on how I should act isnt appropriate

NOW!!!
If anyone comes on here and says “but he did his time” 🖕🖕🖕 and move the F on

Don’t ask me what I think of you, I’ll tell you true and you might not like the answer

While I’ll NEVER walk away from rescue, I AM changing some things

This is not a dog problem we have, it’s a people problem

MOON is ready for adoption!!! ❤️❤️

Last call at OCAS in CA 🤦‍♀️ this little 35 pound Staffie was out of time 💔
Then -
A local short term foster stepped up
One of my besties is a master trainer and part of the rescue - she stepped up
So what else could I do lol
Tag was sent and this little one exited AC 🙌

Now, a couple of months later, Moon is ready for her own family!!!

Moon is a Staffie - full Staffie - and her personality is true 🤣🤦‍♀️❤️
She can be a bit bossy and needs a home with a firm structure - she has been with a wonderful trainer and knows her manners but those manners will need to be reinforced 😁

We think Moon was used as a breeder dog - she showed a lack of even basic training and had little to no interest in the dogs or humans around her
She’s doing SO MUCH BETTER NOW!!! And with a little love, patience and time, we know she’ll be the best dog a family could ever want

Moon does well with dogs her size and bigger - little fuzzy dogs and yappers not so much
Cats are a no-no

Moon needs an active home. She has a lot of energy
She will also pretty much always need a ball to play with 🤣🤣

Moon is spayed, utd on vax and microchipped

We are looking for a foster or foster to adopt in the

ROSIE ❤️❤️ was pulled from a high euthanasia rate AC called Stanislaus in CA for a pre-adopter in central Florida
Due to some unforeseen circumstances - and through no fault of Rosie - the adopter can no longer keep her 💔💔

We NEED a foster in the LAKELAND FLORIDA area PLEASE!!!
Foster needed by Dec 1st ❤️

Rosie is the best girl - she’s sweet and very affectionate, loves everybody
Rather high energy she needs an active foster home

Rosie Posie is a little girl, just about 40 pounds, and is a mix of Aussie and Staffie

Rosie is utd on her vax and is microchipped
She does still need to be spayed and an appt in S Lakeland has been made for next month

Dozer ❤️❤️

Dozer needs a little help from the village please ❤️

Dozer has started losing control of his back end 💔
It came on suddenly and it’s progressed quickly
Several vet visits later we’re still trying to figure out what’s going on with this sweetheart
We had him tested and know it’s not DM
We’ve had X-rays done and while he has some mild dysplasia, its not severe and wouldn’t cause the loss of mobility

We REALLY need some help with this - we’d like him to see the neurological specialist again but it’s cost prohibitive at the moment 💔

His foster mom has also shelled out quite a bit for some extras that we’d like to reimburse her for
And that’s not counting his mama Moo’s extra care!!
She had to have her toe removed from early stage cancer
She’s going to have her own post next ❤️❤️

GRIFF is safe and sound with his furever family ❤️❤️

He almost didn’t make it out of the high euthanasia rate shelter Stanislaus (Modesto CA)
Thanks to a wonderful shelter coordinator that realized it was Sr dog week, he was offered an extension
And that was all we needed

This senior gentleman hit the jackpot 🙌🐾🐾❤️ and is now with his furever family ❤️❤️

My Best Friend Rescue is SLOWLY opening intake
We have several bills outstanding that MUST be taken care of before we open completely after the New Year!!!

We also NEED short and long term FOSTERS in the CA, CO, NM, UT and WY areas

URGENT FOSTER or FOSTER TO ADOPTER!! 🐾🐾

First is DALLAS ❤️❤️
Just a young pup still, Dallas is barely a year old and weighs around 50lbs.

Dallas is very high energy and can run/play for hours!!
He is very much a puppy and can be a little rough/rowdy. He is also still learning socializing and is a very quick learner- super smart baby! He wants to please, loves the positive reinforcement tho he needs structure 🐾🐾♥️

Dallas walked well on the leash but can be a strong puller. He enjoys and plays well with certain dogs that can handle his non stop playful hyper energy. He can be a little bit rough when he plays.
Would do great with a calm dog.
Not sure about cats.
Older kids would be best. He may knock little ones down from his puppy energy. Working on potty training and he doesn't like his crate, but will go in it. He does have some anxiety.

Dallas we will need someone who will be patient, kind and give him lots of love and praise.

Dallas does have a backstory 💔
Owner surrendered on 4/15/2024 at high kill shelter, fostered to adopt on 5/6,
returned for “not right fit” on 6/26,
adopted on 6/30
returned for active behavior on 7/15.
Dallas was healthy, non aggressive and was sentenced to death just to free up space.
