Daycare / Kennel Attendant

Enchanted Tails Pet Resort is looking for a dependable, hardworking animal lover to join our team as a Daycare/Kennel Attendant!

Schedule: Monday–Friday
Hours: 6:00 AM–2:00 PM

Responsibilities

-Supervise dogs during daycare and playtime

-Feed, water, and provide general care for our guests

-Clean and sanitize kennels, play areas, and common areas

-Take dogs outside for potty breaks and exercise

-Monitor dogs for changes in behavior, health, or comfort

-Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized environment

-Work closely with other team members to provide excellent care

What We're Looking For

-Must be reliable and punctual

-Comfortable working with dogs of all sizes and personalities

-Able to work in a fast-paced, active environment

-Comfortable with cleaning and other hands-on kennel duties

-Positive attitude and strong work ethic

-Previous animal-care experience is a plus, but we are willing to train the right person

🐾 DAYCARE FUNDRAISER 🐾

You may have seen the heartbreaking news out of Glen Carbon this week. More than 20 dogs, both living and deceased, were found during an animal cruelty investigation, with the surviving animals needing immediate medical care and safe placement.

Several local rescues stepped up without hesitation to help these animals when they needed it most!

Monday, August 24th through Friday, August 28th, Enchanted Tails will donate 100% of ALL daycare sales to the local rescues that took in and are caring for dogs from this case.

👑 Royal Daycare — 100% donated
🦴 Add-On Enrichment — 100% donated

That means when your pup comes to play next week, every dollar you spend on daycare will go directly toward helping these rescues care for the dogs they've taken in.

You do not have to use daycare to help! We've included information below for anyone who would like to donate directly to the rescues involved. 💙

As someone who has dedicated my life to caring for animals and spent years fostering and volunteering with rescues, situations like this hit incredibly close to home. Every animal deserves to be safe, cared for, and treated with compassion.

We are hiring a weekend Kennel Attendant!

We’re looking for a dependable, hardworking Kennel Attendant to join our weekend team! This is a hands on position caring for dogs & cats, and helping keep our facility clean, safe, and comfortable.

Schedule

Saturday:5:00 PM–9:00 PM
Sunday:6:00 AM–12:00 PM

Responsibilities

* Feed and provide fresh water to dogs & cats
* Take dogs outside for walks, potty breaks and exercise
* Clean and sanitize kennels, play areas, and common spaces
* Wash dishes, bedding, and other pet-care items
* Monitor dogs and report any health or behavior concerns
* Follow feeding, medication, and care instructions carefully
* Help maintain a clean, organized, and safe environment
* Bathing Dogs

What We’re Looking For

* Reliable and punctual
* Comfortable working with dogs of different breeds, sizes, and temperaments
* Able to work independently and stay productive
* Comfortable with cleaning and other physically active tasks
* Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
* Previous animal care experience is a plus, but not required.

I'd say I have the best staff... but apparently they already settled that debate!

In all seriousness, I truly couldn't ask for a better team. They work incredibly hard, take amazing care of every pet that walks through our doors, and somehow still find time to make each other laugh.

Thank you all for everything you do for our clients, their pets, and for making Enchanted Tails such a fun place to be!
