This young fella was caught red-pawed trying to make a pup-chase at HyVee Wine & Spirits. Unfortunately for him, he’s definitely not 21, doesn’t have an ID, and clearly had one too many treats already. 🐶

With the music festival in town, we’re guessing he was either:
🎸 Headed to pregame with the band,
🍗 Following his nose toward a funnel cake, or
💃 Just vibing and lost his way.

Either way, this party pup is hanging out at Affordable Vet Care until his humans come claim him. Help us reunite him with his family before he sneaks into VIP again. 😎

We had a couple of last-minute cancellations for TOMORROW (Saturday), and honestly, we’re shocked too. Saturday appointments usually disappear faster than a dog who hears the word “bath.” 🛁💨

Bruno is looking for a forever home! He is a 3 year old neutered male pitbull mix. He was a previously someone's service animal but through no fault of his own ended up with several relocations before being surrendered to us. We hope to find him a forever loving home. He is neutered, up to date on all vaccines, and current on flea/tick/heartworm prevention. He is fully potty trained and has done well with dogs and cats while staying with us. He is very laid back in his personality.

🚨 Feral Cat Spay/Neuter Openings – Tomorrow! 🚨

We have space available tomorrow for 3-5 feral cats to be spayed or neutered. If you’ve got a trap and a neighborhood kitty in mind, now’s your chance!

🐾 First come, first serve
🐾 Cats must arrive by 9:00 AM
🐾 Owner/trapper is responsible for the cost of surgery- pay at drop off for cost of neuter (if female, the difference will be due at pick up)
🐾 Cats must be in a secure trap or carrier (we prefer live traps for safety of very feral)
🐾 Owner/trapper is required to return for cat and carrier by 4:30pm same day.

Help reduce the stray population and give your local ferals a healthier future. Just show up early with your feline friend! We open at 8am🐱✂️

True story — we were having so much fun at Customer Appreciation Day, we completely forgot to take pictures. 🙈 We were too busy enjoying great conversations, sharing laughs, and spending time with the wonderful people who make this job so rewarding.

Luckily, we snagged this one at the end — the crew piled into the cattle chute. Because when you’re a vet clinic, that’s just how you do team photos, right? 😅🐄

Thank you to everyone who came out and to every client who has supported us over the past 4 years. We are so grateful to be part of this community, to care for your animals, and to have the privilege of doing what we love every day. 💙
