Connection begins long before words — in the safety we feel, the trust we build, and the presence we offer. Trauma, especially from early childhood, can interrupt that natural rhythm, leaving us unsure how to bond or afraid to trust.

Here at Crossing Arrows Ranch, we see it every day. Horses remind us that connection cannot be forced. It must be chosen. When we slow down, honor boundaries, and remain present, healing becomes possible — for both horse and human.

The work of repair often looks simple on the outside, but in truth, it’s a brave step toward restoring what was lost.

As a survivor of domestic violence, this tragedy has been deeply triggering. I know how terrifying these moments can be. It’s why I became passionate about social work—helping survivors of trauma become thrivers. Spencer and I have both walked through our own pain, and that’s why we are so real and committed to this work.

At Crossing Arrows Ranch, we have always provided free therapy sessions for law enforcement. In light of recent events, we are also opening pro bono therapy for those directly impacted.

Our hearts are with every survivor and every first responder carrying the weight of trauma. You are not alone.

We at Crossing Arrows Ranch are heartbroken by the recent tragedy in Tremonton, where two police officers lost their lives and others were injured while responding to a domestic violence call. To anyone directly impacted, we are offering free therapy sessions as a place of support and healing. You don’t have to walk through this alone.

🕯️🙏 Our prayers and gratitude go out to Deputy Mike Allred and his loyal partner K-9 Azula, who were both injured in the Tremonton tragedy. We are so thankful they are recovering.

Thank you for your courage, service, and sacrifice. We know the path to healing will not be easy, and we lift you both up in prayer for strength, peace, and full restoration.

May God’s protection surround you as you continue to serve and may our community never forget the dedication you have shown. 💙🐾

Update: Crossing Arrows Ranch has always provided free sessions for First Responders and Veterans. Many of us in the mental health field have come together to offer Pro-Bono therapy for those directly impacted by this tragedy. Please reach out if you are in need of these services, you dont have to walk this alone.

💔 Our hearts ache for all touched by this tragedy. We hold in prayer Sergeant Lee Sorensen and Officer Eric Estrada, whose lives were lost in service. We lift up the wounded officer and the faithful K9 who served alongside them. We also hold in prayer the mother and children who endured trauma in their own home, and the families now grieving unimaginable loss.

May God surround every hurting heart with peace, strength, and comfort. Tonight we pray not only for those directly impacted, but for our whole community as we grieve together and search for healing. 🙏

💔 Our hearts are heavy as we grieve alongside our community. Over the weekend, two brave officers lost their lives while responding to a domestic violence call in Tremonton, Utah. A sheriff’s deputy and a devoted K-9 partner were also wounded and remain in our prayers.

At Crossing Arrows, we walk with those impacted by trauma and loss. Today, we pause to honor these officers, the service dog, and their families. Their sacrifice is a reminder of the courage it takes to stand against violence and the importance of standing together in compassion and care.

May we lift one another up, support survivors of domestic violence, and never forget the lives given in service and love. 🕊️💙🐾

Two police officers were killed and a deputy was injured when a man opened fire at a residence in Tremonton Sunday night.

✨🐴 Our beautiful girl Firefly the mustang arrived on Saturday! A huge thank you to Justin and Nikki Herd for making the long trip to bring her home.

Firefly is only one year old and already so tall! Though she was donated as “untouched,” she’s already showing her gentle spirit. Yesterday, she walked right up to me, asked for pets, and then followed me around the pen. 💕

I’m already in love—and I know so many clients will benefit from her kind eyes and healing presence. Welcome home, Firefly! 🌟

🚗✨ The Chevelle is on its way HOME! ✨🚗
What once sat untouched, worn, and waiting… is now headed toward restoration.
Much like the work we do through our su***de awareness and prevention mission, this car’s journey reflects a deeper truth—what feels broken can be rebuilt, restored, and made whole again. ❤️

A huge thank you to all our incredible sponsors who made this dream a reality. 🙌
We can’t wait to share each step as we bring this classic beauty back to life—and continue bringing hope to those who need it most.

🚗💛 Just $1,000 to Go! 💛🚗

We are so close to making a dream come true. After months of support, generosity, and hard work from friends, family, and sponsors, Spence is about to bring home his dad’s 1970 Chevelle — his father’s dream car that never made it to the finish line.

This isn’t just about a car. It’s about honoring a life lost to su***de, supporting his displaced mom, and creating a healing space at Crossing Arrows Ranch where families affected by loss can come together.

Thanks to YOU, we’re nearly there — and just $1,000 shy of bringing it all home.

If you’re able to chip in for these last few steps (or share our post), it would mean the world:

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you—each donation, share, and kind word is helping us turn tragedy into legacy and loss into hope. ❤️

🌾💜 Natural Lifemanship & Attachment 💜🌾

When we choose a horse to partner with in Natural Lifemanship, it’s not by accident. The horse often mirrors the attachment styles and relational patterns we most need to work through.

This connection isn’t just about training—it’s about trust, respect, and creating a safe space where both horse and human can choose relationship, not be forced into it.

Working with this incredible partner is life-changing. Every moment together teaches me something new about patience, boundaries, and how healing happens in the space between us.

Sometimes the right horse doesn’t just teach you about horses… they help you understand yourself. 🐎💫

HEALING WITH RESCUE MUSTANGS: WHERE STRENGTH MEETS FREEDOM

Step into a journey this summer where the untamed power of mustangs inspires resilience and renewal. At Crossing Arrows Ranch, our innovative equine therapy program blends natural lifemanship with the wild spirit of mustangs to create a sanctuary for healing.

Natural Lifemanship
Our approach honors the innate wisdom of horses by fostering mutual trust and gentle guidance. When our mustangs lead and our hearts follow, healing truly begins.

Respecting the Wild Spirit
Mustangs embody freedom, resilience, and raw authenticity. We honor their natural behaviors and treat them with the respect they deserve—values that inspire us to overcome life’s challenges with courage.

Healing Through Equine Therapy
For trauma survivors—including veterans, survivors of domestic abuse, and survivors of sexual abuse—our program offers a safe, nurturing space. Through meaningful interactions with our mustangs, participants rebuild trust, process deep emotions, and rediscover inner strength. This summer, we’re also preparing new stalls and shelters to give our mustangs a secure, comfortable home, reflecting the stability we aim to provide for our community.

Join us on this transformative journey and discover how the wild beauty of mustangs can spark hope, healing, and empowerment.
