At this time, intake is closed.
Like many rescues across the country, we are beyond capacity, and we cannot responsibly take in additional cats and kittens until more of our current residents find homes.
This is an important reminder that rescue is not an endless resource. Every animal that is adopted frees up space for another animal in need. Without adoptions, rescues become bottlenecks instead of lifelines.
If you’ve been thinking about adding a feline family member, now is the time. Adoption doesn’t just save one life, it creates room for the next cat or kitten waiting for help.
You can also make a difference by:
🐱 Adopting
🐱 Fostering
🐱 Volunteering
🐱 Sharing adoptable pets
🐱 Spaying and neutering your pets to help reduce overpopulation
We know there are many animals still needing help, and closing intake is never a decision we take lightly. Our priority must be providing proper care and resources to the cats already in our program while working to find them loving, permanent homes.
Thank you for supporting Kila’s Kitties and helping us continue our mission, one adoption at a time. ❤️
