ATTENTION DOGGY STYLIN CLIENTS:

I will be starting my prerequisites for nursing school come May 12th. I will not be accepting new clients unless they are referrals from current clients after May 12th. My hours will be significantly reduced and I will only be grooming from 3-7 Monday-Friday. Sorry for any inconvenience. I got to do my very first Eurasier today. I didnā€™t even know that was a breed until her owner contacted me! She was such a good Girl and the most satisfying groom Iā€™ve literally ever done. I had to include all the hair in the after picture because it was truly insane. Her name is Zenzi šŸ„°

This is just a PSA. Spring is coming up faster than Iā€™d like. With spring comes baby animalsā€¦ like skunks. If your dog gets sprayed by a skunk DO NOT USE TOMATO JUICE. It literally does nothing except make your dog smell like a skunk got confused and sprayed a ketchup bottle. If they get sprayed absolutely DO NOT get them wet. It makes the oils in the spray pe*****te down in their coat and itā€™s just about impossible to get the smell out. Instead mix equal parts dawn, baking soda and peroxide into a paste and scrub it into your dogs coat. Again do this BEFORE you get them wet. Let it sit about 10 mins before rinsing it off and then continue on with the bath as usual. It also works if your dog is a dingus like mine and rolls in something dead. It works for collars too. Stick it in a cup overnight with the baking soda, peroxide and Dawn covering it and then wash it in your washer like normal šŸ™‚
