So... A LOT of stuff has been weighing on us for several days! The last few days have been emotional. And where I am extremely grateful for my blessings I've just been tired...
Also, tired because I'm not getting much sleep at night. Connor and Silas both ended up with RSV. Connor is doing great and with a few treatments Silas is improving pretty fast. I'm thankful for that. Us getting up together as a family and being loved well by my kiddos and my husband beats it all! That's a huge blessing in itself!

On another note, there's been ups and downs with grooming lately and that beats me up too BUT, TODAY! I FEEL SUCCESSFUL! TITO, ONE of my faithful boys who comes and sees me ALWAYS put up a fight for his nails. Never wanting me near his feet from past trauma. Since his nails were short and never grew long I told his owner leave it up to me if possible to grow his trust back & TODAY HE LET ME CLIP NOT ONLY ONE BUT ALL 18 NAILS! Yes, he jumped and pulled a little but TODAY makes me proud of what I do! He is entrusting my hands, my ability, my work! & He loves me! That has made my groom day!

Please understand.
Your kids should not pull at Tails, hair and ears, ride the dogs like ponies around the house, jump on them or be allowed to mess with their food while they are eating. Period. We baby our dogs way to much and think their instinct is not within them anymore. They are dogs. Your kids should not be allowed to jerk your cat up and spin it around, or toss it, or pull their tails either... They are cats. They CAN be unpredictable. Not always but CAN be. Goes along with other domesticated animals too..
